Yeah it’s really upbeat and happy and easy to tap your toe to, but he’s singing about extermination of the human race, and falling into piles of flesh. The contrast is fun.
+Robert Adams I agree. This is the only true form of punk, no doubt. It started as a revival to 50s rock n roll & The Misfits captured it perfectly. And no other was able to since.
if you think this is the only true form of punk and that no one has captured the punk/horror punk band vibe since them you need to start listening to more bands
This song really shows off Danzig’s genius, he could sing the darkest lyrics about horror movies from the 50’s and make it sound like a upbeat pop song. If you didn’t pay attention you might miss this song is about the end of the human race.
Me and my friend Ellie ride around (her on a skateboard , me on a bike) listening to music like this all day, and we call ourselves the misfitz gang lol. Fun times.

Horror punk with that 50s doo-wop sensibility. Magic.
I wouldn't say doo-wop. More like that classic teenage, Chevy, going to make out lane 1950s rockabilly sound.
Probably the most underrated song of them. Its creepy and full of hate, but still there is a small glimmering of melancholy
Yeah it’s really upbeat and happy and easy to tap your toe to, but he’s singing about extermination of the human race, and falling into piles of flesh. The contrast is fun.

Horror Business is my favorite Misfits song but this is a better punk song. I'll have to agree.
The harmony is hilarious
I love the fast little up strums at the end of the Oooooooohhs in the chorus. hot
