Thanks for the idea I liked the Cale so much I have made it several times. I changed the recipe a bit. I baked the first layer of crescent roll sheet at 350 for 15 minutes before adding the cream cheese mix after it cooled. It made for a less soggy bottom crust. And for the cream cheese mixture I used 2 egg yokes and made the filling more like custard (3 eggs works good too for a firmer filling when I add a fruit jam). I bake the final sheet Danish cake for about 35 to 40 minutes at 350. I enjoy vanilla and I add an extra 2 teaspoons from the original recipe. This way I can cut it into squares and put it in a covered cake dish. The original recipe I couldn't do that because the filling was too loose. Today I added vanilla pudding mix will let you know how it turns out.
This is delicious. One of my NEW guilty pleasures. I love cinnamon so this time I sprinkled it over the bottom crust and again o we the cream cheese layer. WOW!!! So good. Thanks for sharing.
I bought a square of this at a bake sale over a year ago, and have been searching for the recipe ever since. I didn't realize it was made with crescent rolls!! I can't wait to make it. Thanks for the video!!
I just loved watching your video. I had everything on hand. I just made it and tried it while still warm. It was fantastic. I think I'll add a tablespoon of warm strawberry pie filling to a piece with coffee in the morning. It's a great recipe that comes out just like you show. Thank you again
This looks so good. Can you believe I have never used crescent rolls for anything 🙃🙃🙃 Definitely going to try your recipe first then make it with fruit 😊😊😊 thank you so much for sharing ❤
I took frozen raspberries, added powdered sugar, cornstarch, heated on stove, and when cooled/thickened, put it on the team cheese, then the top layer of dough. Baked a little longer. BOY IS IT GOOD!
Good morning I made this, this morning and I added raspberry jam in middle of it, and it came out amazing and delicious 👌😋 Thank you so much for your recipe ❤️
@@evon7327 We really did. The kids loved it. I made some with cinnamon and others with the strawberry syrup like you put on shortcake (cut up strawberries with sugar left in a fridge overnight). It was DELICIOUS.
TJ Eclipse and Sherry Hawes: Lay off on criticising people for economizing. Make it with whatever brands you want, but leave this lady alone for using what she chooses to purchase.
Libbie Moore lay off people for having an opinion. It’s just that, an opinion! There is/was no malice against any person. These videos are great and enjoyable.
Why all the store brand ingredients? Huge difference in taste, especially with the cream cheese if you use name brand. Thank you for the easy and nearly fool proof recipe.
I keep a pretty close budget with four growing children lol! I am picky about buying the name brand with a few things but I haven't noticed a decrease in quality with these particular ingredients. Thank you for watching and commenting!!😃
Sherry Hawes: To each his own; you're free to use whatever brand you want and so is the lady demonstrating. She's satisfied with her ingredients. Your editorial comment was judgmental and impolite.
Libbie Moore your comment is also judgement and impolite! Maybe there is a reason for a specific brand. Not all products work the same in baking as others.
The video is horrible. The music is annoying and it's difficult to read the red fonts. Probably a good recipe but who knows ? The ingredients are a mystery

how much sugar?
One cup of granulated sugar, later one cup of powdered sugar.
This is what i`m talking about
What kind of milk was that again that you added in the powdered sugar?
Just reg milk, 1%, 2% or whole milk.
Thank you for responding back to me I am looking forward to making this recipe for Thanksgiving ❤ Happy holidays... stay safe!
Thank u! Happy Holidays to u also!
Is this printable anywhere?
No ma'am, I'm sorry, there may be a similar recipe on pinterest...
What if all the ingredients in the mixing bowl are liquidy? Can they be made creamy by mixing longer?
With two cream cheeses,1 cup of sugar, 1 egg yolk and a dab of vanilla there isn't much liquid in this mixture. Maybe u left something out?
Can I add fruits?
I've never added fruit but it sounds like it would be delicious! I would be careful not to let the fruit get runny or it may not set up properly.
How high on oven 350 375
350
Sorry to sweet for me with the glaze
why don't you list the ingredients ?
They're listed at the start of the video
Where is recipe?
2 cans crescent rolls
2 8oz cream cheese
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 egg yolk( save the white)
1 tsp vanilla
The recipe starts at 0:36
@@evon7327 you did a great job on this recipe video. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us!!
YW! Thanks for the sweet comment ❤
Better w/o music! Please!
Heck no on those junk brands. You can do better and choose quality.
Bet this would be a whole lot better if you used Philadelphia cream cheese and not great value
TJ Eclipse 👍Maybe so
I totally agree.
