Episode 8 is simply one of the most amazing things that has ever graced television screens. Maybe you were in the midst of watching The Return when you wrote your comment, I don't know. But that one (titled "Gotta Light?") was something out of this world. The nuclear mushroom, the ectoplasm up in the theater room which showed the origins of Bob and Laura, the radio station attack and announcement ("This is the water, and this is the well", etc), and the frog moth.... just Wow. Kinda blew my mind to a pile of shiny confetti.
Dern is amazing. Not just a great actress but one of the most committed to her projects you can imagine. Am really looking forward to seeing her as Diane. Her and Kyle seem be having a blast here.
Following Lynch's directions, I didn't read any indiscretion about the plot, but I got a feeling Laura Dern is gonna portray the legendary "Diane", lol.
Looking forward to this. Looking forward to re-entering a world I was never that familiar with. Looking forward to hearing what Angelo Badalamenti will do this time (somehow, I wish Siouxsie Sioux may have a hand in the witchery, as well). Looking forward to what Mr. Lynch will make us experience again.

Oh believe me, simply having that image isn't remotely a spoiler. I used to watch a video essay with that shot completely intact and I didn't realize that it was a spoiler or what was going on until like 5 seconds before it happened. Then and only then was i able to connect the dots.
@@ick13 a friend of mine sent me a screenshot of that like an asshole when I was about halfway through the show and it's definitely a huge spoiler. No offense, but I have no idea how you weren't able to connect the dots, you clearly see that Cooper is inhabited by BOB.

Twin Peaks (The Return) is without doubt the most astonishing TV Series that I have ever watched. The Pilot & Episodes 6 & 7 are already masterpieces.
