The 275000 dollar guitar has a way more prominent tone, and it has almost a fuzz to it, sounds really nice. But in the end, the player makes the guitar, the guitar doesn’t make the player

wouldn’t expect two weebs to understand the difference. It’s why guitar players can hear it and you can’t. Because we know. You don’t. so why do you say “they’re the same..” when you have no adequate training to answer the question.

The eBay guitar has that clean and soft tone while the Gibson Les Paul has a bit of distortion. So it's basically up to you what your gonna use, eBay guitar for soft and mellow playing or the Gibson for rock or metal songs
Learn guitar and play a lot, and then you’ll hear it. It’s called ear training, it takes lots of guitar playing though. as a guitarist, I can hear the difference

No, because the effects you have hooked up to them hides the sound. Let's hear them with no effects and a dry amp. I'd also like to ask how well the $100.00 guitar stays in tune? Will the neck bow within a year?
@@58792008 Now why would I want to do that? Even if I tuned each one of them differently, I would still have guitars left over. I am not saying buying a$275,000 guitar but I am saying the Gibson is PROBABLY a better built guitar.
You're absolutely right plus you can hear the single coils volume is turned up and the lps humbuckers are turned down. Also it's EQ'd and the choice of riffs fit the tele more. If someone plays guitar they know the tele is a thinner and brighter guitar so for it to sound this full it was EQ'd for it. Also most people can't set up a guitar properly if their lives depended on it. The action on the tele is set so proper and low of course it will play very good.
Not better just different. It makes you play different because it makes you feel different and when you feel different you play different because you feel different and that's the difference, the only difference that really matters. 👍🏾
The difference in quality between expensive and budget gear has really, REALLY narrowed over recent years. The instrument that was more comfortable to play and had a better overall tone generally would inspire you to play more, making you a better player over time (sometimes, not that much time). These days you're finding that experience for waaay cheaper than you used to.
Well it's single coil vs humbucker so of course there is a difference. The question wasn't wether there was a difference, but wether one sounded better even when accounting for different pick up styles
It’s because the expensive one has humbucker pickups which delivers a heavier sound and the cheap one has single could typically used for lighter sounds like jazz and pop
You sound like you're having more fun on the expensive one, particularly in the string bends. I think it's that feeling, that inspiration that would give the illusion of sounding better.
The 60LP is a staple. I'm not about to pay 275k for it 😂 you can go to Gibson right now spend 5k on a reissue will play about the same only difference is real P.A.F pickups vs the fake stuff made today that tries to he a P.A.F some are good some not so much

Yes, I can hear the difference. I can hear $100 coming off the value every note picked.
Tone is in the fingers. You can feel the difference I'm certain, but no, we cannot hear it. Because it is YOU.
Les Pauls r my fav. At the end of the day if you have a good amp and are talented, you can make any guitar sound good.
Mesa Boogie extremely versatile = Good times !
The amp matters more than you think
The Tele had a sharper sound, for it was a single coil. The les paul was very FAT and solid. Very well done!
Could that maybe be due to the differences in pickups..? Typical les Pauls are equipped with humbuckers while telecasters have single coil pickups.. very insightful comment!!
Ah yes, comparing a Les Paul and a ”Telecaster-style” guitar… Of course they Will sound different.
Exactly my thought
That amplifier is the real MVP!!
I have a feeling you can make anything sound awesome!
The biggest factor not the guitar - but the player and amp - Some buy guitars to play - some but guitars for investments.
That's what
Somehow the inexpensive ebay 🎸 guitar sounds clearer.
That’s cause he’s putting some distortion on the other one. He’s also playing through a 3000 amp so any guitar will sound like a 270,000 dollar guitar
The 275000 dollar guitar has a way more prominent tone, and it has almost a fuzz to it, sounds really nice. But in the end, the player makes the guitar, the guitar doesn’t make the player
Me and my Epiphones couldn't hear the difference over our laughter at this comparison filling my home
studio...
The biggest reason that les paul is so expensive is novelty. If you had a 274,000$ cheaper les paul it would sound just as good
😀🙄 *What nonsense, if you took a guitar that was $274,000 cheaper then you wouldn't have a guitar at all anymore 274,000 - 274,000 make 0 dollars and for 0 dollars you don't get a guitar* Greetings from Germany - Cologne

the expensive one gave me goosebumps with that growl, holy heck!
Me: cool
Him: Can you find the difference?
Also me: They're the same-
Only difference is one has history while the other does not. But your joke is cool 🤣 tho bro.
wouldn’t expect two weebs to understand the difference. It’s why guitar players can hear it and you can’t. Because we know. You don’t. so why do you say “they’re the same..” when you have no adequate training to answer the question.
@@SpecketThere is no need to take it personally mate. Not everyone has the same talent in everything for you it may be guitar I respect that and for me its basketball so no need to call people weebs. Plus I think electric guitar rocks 🙂. I actually have friends who have started a band and two of them play guitar and I love to listen to them play their tunes.
Yeah, I hear the money.
I’m glad my boyfriend decided to buy our house early with this guitar
The eBay guitar has that clean and soft tone while the Gibson Les Paul has a bit of distortion. So it's basically up to you what your gonna use, eBay guitar for soft and mellow playing or the Gibson for rock or metal songs
Ok so after listening to the first one I can gerente that that’s a guitar
lern how to spell
Plese
"No."
That's my answer :)
Learn guitar and play a lot, and then you’ll hear it.
It’s called ear training, it takes lots of guitar playing though. as a guitarist, I can hear the difference
Most definitely a huge difference. The tone of the Gibson is clear as a bell ❤️
Humbucker sound not necessarily the gibson
Dude there was literally next to no difference.
@@tannerhicks4098 sorry sir but if you couldn’t hear it then there may be something wrong with your hearing. Maybe get it checked. Just saying ❤️
I could hear the difference but not enough to justify the price
The 275,000 guitar doesn't sound better, it sounds like it's expensive.
I can hear the difference ...
My Bank balance doesn't
Well, I noticed the first on played and sounded like a guitar, and the second one played and sounded like a guitar.
My cheap watch shows the same time ,and my branded Rolex watch show the same time 😂
Yeah my 48 year old wife has a pushy:..
But my 21 year old mistresses pushy Is the size of a dime and I don’t immediately think of Roast Beef sandwiches when I go head diving…. You do you boo….
Bro has the cheek bones of young Johnny Depp ❤️😂
If it’s that then is probably a coke addiction
Okay I didn’t expect the Les Paul to go that crazy but obviously the answer of preference lies in the middle (more towards cheap) for most people
A $275,000 Telecaster is also going to sound different to a $275,000 Les Paul.
No, because the effects you have hooked up to them hides the sound. Let's hear them with no effects and a dry amp. I'd also like to ask how well the $100.00 guitar stays in tune? Will the neck bow within a year?
U could buy another 274 guitars
@@MYdjANDkaraoke You are even more knowledgeable and insightful than I am. Thank you for the input.
It all comes with great skill and good amp sound.
The guy doesn't even need perfect pitch to feel the extreme difference.
I like the first one. It sounds clear, and clean, and I like the classic colors.
Yeees, i think the same
Not better just different. It makes you play different because it makes you feel different and when you feel different you play different because you feel different and that's the difference, the only difference that really matters. 👍🏾
Different because different pickups yknow
The crazy thing is he learned how to do this in 1 hour with simply guitar 🎸!
U paid to do this
The difference in quality between expensive and budget gear has really, REALLY narrowed over recent years. The instrument that was more comfortable to play and had a better overall tone generally would inspire you to play more, making you a better player over time (sometimes, not that much time). These days you're finding that experience for waaay cheaper than you used to.
The 200k guitar sounds amazing. The guitar doesn't help you play better it makes you sound better
I love the $100 guitar 🎸
no
Had my back to this video when it came on and I was able to tell which was the 60 les Paul. But he has a good point.
Well it's single coil vs humbucker so of course there is a difference. The question wasn't wether there was a difference, but wether one sounded better even when accounting for different pick up styles
My ears could't find the difference, but your fingers could
I can hear the difference between the single coils and the humbuckers 😂
my old guitar teacher said to me if you can make a crappy untuned guitar sound good you know you’ve got something
I'd rather play good on a cheap guitar than sound like shit on an expensive guitar
but you sound shit on a cheap guitar,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,jkjk
Damn the second guitar sound is the only reason I wanna get into Electric guitars anybody know a cheap guitar that sounds like that?
I think when u play u make any guitar sound brilliant
Aw what a sweet fellow
Yup
The expensive one is had more crips so that guitar fit in rock music but for the cheap one just fit on pop or jazz music. That's my thought
It’s because the expensive one has humbucker pickups which delivers a heavier sound and the cheap one has single could typically used for lighter sounds like jazz and pop
@MrNiceGuy yeah you're right, but I can't play any instrument lol 😂
I feel like you changed the sound processor.
Agreed
It's not the guitar, it's the player playing the guitar. You are genius my brother
You sound like you're having more fun on the expensive one, particularly in the string bends. I think it's that feeling, that inspiration that would give the illusion of sounding better.
I can definitely hear the difference, the 1960 guitar is absolutely amazing❤️
What is not amazing is the damage to your bank account after buying it LOL
The 60LP is a staple. I'm not about to pay 275k for it 😂 you can go to Gibson right now spend 5k on a reissue will play about the same only difference is real P.A.F pickups vs the fake stuff made today that tries to he a P.A.F some are good some not so much
You could have actually picked a similar style guitar!
The Gibson over the distortion when the $100 dollar guitar sounds clearer
