By far the best guys on RUclips
We appreciate that!
I just dyno pull add 100 WHP using WMI. Base line was 488WHP. with WMI 592WHP. boost was static. that is big difference
The key is truly isolating the variables to truly test the effect WMI, it’s likely that your power difference is accounted for by other variables that just WMI, and as mentioned meth is fuel so if you needed more fuel or octane to make more power then the meth will work for that.
We discuss in this video all the reasons why WMI would have made more power for you that aren’t necessarily due to injecting water into the combustion chamber.
592whp with a b8 s4? What mods are you running?
Can water methanol help reduce carbon build up on the valves?
Yes water can, the steam action cleans everything in the intake tract post the water nozzle.
@@034motorsport That's why my garage recommended it. To help clear (or prevent) carbon buildup on the back of the valves.
Just to confirm, your opinion is adding a water methanol injection system without any additional tune, is your recommendation?. Is there any negative to adding these systems without any form of tuning, or in general are the vehicles adaptable enough to any changes to the afr that these could cause?
Thumbs up for the question. A very small nozzle in my theory just for cooling is beneficial if you sit in traffic for a couple hours on a blistering day then hit the gas hard your car can feel like Winter.

Is 250cc the best for a small turbo car? Mine is scirocco 1.4 on stage 2
Ok fighter plan comment aside thanks for the vid.
Our pleasure! Was there an issue with the reference to using WMI in planes?
Can you spray water meth when running stage 2+ on e40? Might be a stupid question but I’m curious haha
Yes, we offer a specific E40 + WMI file. Shoot an email to tuning@034motorsport.com for assistance!
Is there a stage 1 e40 + wmi file?
Why would anyone care to do that?
You would benefit way more from just getting a $300 pulley, $400 HX, and updating your tune.
@@Corbots80what you're saying makes no sense
There is no Intercooler on a S4 guys...
The supercharger forces air through the intercooler cores (06E145621S) in order to cool the charged air. We'd recommend checking out this video: ruclips.net/video/JhZMr8xrE48/видео.html
@@034motorsport watercooler. Im refering to your sentence on spraying the water on the intercooler surface to cool it, this is a great idea for many applications but not for the S4, S5, A6 or A7, the 3.0TFSI family. It won't be as effective on heat exchanges like it is on this platform.
No worries, its just because your title refer to the S4s
@@AzBachour you can certainly spray water in the water cooler to increase its efficiency.
@@034motorsport Water thermal Conductivity is 0.6W/(m·K) while the air is 0.025 W/(m·K). The higher the better.
So I guess I was wrong, watercooler sprayed with water outside will actually perform better then an intercooler.
But it still a watercooler. 🤷🏻♂️
@@034motorsport lol I guess Audi calls it intercoolers, I call it watercooler as its cooled by water not air, I think I got this from the F80 M3 I had where BMW use to call it watercooler. Whatever. Both has the same purpose...
