    I am in the 'tire kicking' phase of picking out the next truck I will get to replace my 2007 Silverado which will have well over 200K miles. After months of pouring over messages in forums it is shocking that the new Toyota Tundra, Nissan Titan and Ford F150 have so many issues so I started looking at the Ram and was surprised to see that Consumer Reports gives it a recommended flag. The features the Ram offers is outstanding, looking forward to purchasing one.

      We have the same story. I purchased a Longhorn and so far so good. The only issue I have had is a dead battery which is troubling. There are so many sensors and unnecessary accessories that no one would use who knows where the power drain is coming from. Unless you perform a complete diagnostics which requires OEM tools. $$$ and more $$$
      RAM is a good company overall. Good luck internet stranger.

      I loved that comment, as well, although as a Tesla owner since 2014 I’ve been using it’s self-park for 7 years and have yet to scratch my car or hit anything around me. I trust it implicitly. Happy to see Ram moving in the same direction and I intend to test my 2021 Ram’s ability to self-park.

    That is a real cool feature but will it sense another truck's mirror where it's parking and avoid hitting it especially if it's parking next to a truck with tow mirrors and will this system work with a lifted truck once you install big wheels and aftermarket bumpers

    • @GodspeedZRZ
      @GodspeedZRZ  2 года назад +1

      The feature will work if lifted and aftermarket bumpers as long as they fit the equipment. The parking will become less precise and take a few more turns to park. It does notice anything sticking out with it will notice a mirror and avoid it.

    the most dangerous feature on a ram IMO. won't find multiple empty spaces only those with a vehicle on either side. the stop indicator is usually obscured by the steering wheel. with all the braking sensors there's no reason why park sense can't brake itself. almost hitting a parked car twice while backing at an angle is reason enough to park it yourself using the backup camera

      I am actually working at an import store in the Nashville area. I will say the Covid years have been good to me haha even now with the shortage on everything we still find a way to make the money! It’s definitely been a wild ride to jump into the business right before it hit to get a baseline of what the car business is and then get the whole business turned upside down with the pandemic!

      @@Mr2323Hoffman as the old saying goes “you have to walk before you can run” this is the first steps for the truck industry. Its progression and for that we should be grateful.

    If you can't park your own vehicle, you shouldn't be driving. I would have parked it myself 5 times in the same amount of time. BTW, enjoy the door dings.
