- 1968 Corvair Ultra Van: we meet the owners and get a tour! Ep.31
It is in a class by itself. In this #fulltimervliving episode we take you on a walkthrough of a vintage ultra van and meet the owners of this fun rv that says hello to you as soon as you see it. We thank Dave and Gloria for sharing their RV with us and appreciate their hospitality as we walk through and see the engine. This motorhome is powered by Chevrolet's 110 horsepower Corvair engine and sits on a air frame style chassis and came 3,850 lbs from the factory.

Hello everyone. Welcome back to our channel. We hope you enjoy this walkthrough of this 1968 Corvair Ultra Van. Junior had the pleasure of meeting Dave and Gloria and got to see inside and check out the motor. This was his first time doing the filming, so he did great interviewing Dave and asking questions about this Vintage Rig. Check out the drop-down description for a link for more history on this brand . Junior was excited about this video. He is still learning and so am I, but for his first one on one interview, I think he did an excellent job. Thanks for watching and if you enjoyed this content subscribe and click that bell to get notifications of our future uploads. Lots of Love from The Queens, Junior and Sharron
What a cool RV! Thanks for sharing it with us!
It is cool and has a lot of background history. Junior was excited about this one. Thank you for watching
Enjoyed the tour of that cracking vintage RV. Thanks for sharing 👍
Cracking? Junior was excited to see the engine in this one.
Way to go Junior. You could’ve been a news reporter.
Thank you for watching Rob!
Right
Wow! This is such a classic and in amazing condition!
Haha! He did a great job with the video and I didn’t even catch that he was saying “right” a lot. 😂
He did do a great job!
Great interview Junior 👏🏾👏🏾 and thank you to Dave and Gloria for welcoming us in their home. The RV is so beautiful. I like the Hello Sign too.
The Hello on the front is the best thing about it ! 😊
Just think, these things was everywhere back in the day!
It would be cool to have one now.
This was a cool RV and the history on it was so interesting. I really enjoyed interviewing Dave. Excuse my shaky hand as my arm still gets weak after the shoulder surgery. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Junior
Thank you for capturing this unique RV for our adventure stories. ❤️ Love you
Oh now I have to watch the video again, Right!!! Have you visited the RV museum in Elkhart IN? very cool!!
Right, watch again and count lol. We have not been to that museum. We will have to add it to our list.
This was so cool to see. My mom would be all over this van. She loves stuff like this. Never seen anything like this but I would love to see something like this again. It was really cool and nice of this them to share their van.
Whenever I was living in the Lakecity camp ground one came and visited. One of the coolest rides I've ever seen 🎉
We totally agree! Love seeing unique RVs
Fun to see how one of those loos inside, so much more space than I would have thought 😊
We really like seeing the old vintage campers.
That's a pretty cool RV. Thanks for sharing it with us.
We love talking to those that come through our home park. We meet great people that way.
This was pretty awesome! And when you said tour I wasn’t expecting such a detailed tour. We were able to see the inside functions of the van as well as how it looks.
👌🏻😍👍🏻👍🏻
Great video. Awesome looking Ultra Van. I've heard of the Corvair Ultra Van, but I've never seen one in person. I find it way more attractive than most motorhomes of the period. And in terms of size, it's perfect for two adults to travel in. 🙂
The owners of this rig were fantastic people
@@CozyQueenAdventures Indeed. I'd buy one myself if I had someone to share the experience and responsibilities with.
These Corvair Ultra Vans are pretty neat ! & I'm into Covairs anyway , & I own 3 of them , They also made one from the FC 95 Greenbrier Sport wagons that were smaller than the Ultra Van , & There pretty neat campers as well , Thanks for the video .
Yes they are!
