That "Marseille ne compte pas" comment isn't surprising! There is a huge rivarly between Lyon and Marseille (Paris sometimes unsurprisingly gets thrown in the mix), it's mostly due to soccer fans who despise each other...
In that particular case, not only. Lyon indeed is the 2nd largest city in France if you count metropolitan areas. If you don't, and only take the cities themselves into account, then Marseille is the 2nd largest city in France, Lyon being the 3rd in this case. So as a joke, it makes sense that a subscriber from Lyon would say 'Marseille doesn't count', knowing Marseille as a city is actually larger than Lyon.
The joke about Lyon and Marseille is that both cities claim being the second largest City in France. There is some kind of rivalry between them. Actually Marseille is the largest one, but Lyon as the largest suburbian area.
Plus there is also a soccer rivalry. Because they both have "Olympique" in their names. So they are fighting to claim which one is the real "olympique"
Who outside of France has ever heard of "Olympique Lyonnais"? Everybody who cares about football knows about Olympique de Marseille.
Oh, okay. I stopped paying attention to Champions League a decade ago. Nobody talked about Olympique Lyonnais when I was a kid, they were never talked about on the radio when I was younger, etc. -- but everybody talked about Olympique Marseille once in a while.
Are the Marseille ultras anti immigration? Or are there pro and anti rival supporters? One would think immigration would be a more important topic in Marseille than in Lyon.
In marseille, ultra have the rule to never speak about politic, unless the subject is football. In the stadium, poor and rich people are siting next together, that's one of the reason why we have the best supporters in France.
Marseille have two times more habitant than Lyon, and the area is fift times bigger, and our city of course is by far more beautiful.

I was slightly scared of South Korea as a kid because of the movie "Bloodsport". The South Korean character Chong Li was a maniac in that movie, brutally hurting people, even killing a guy. I thought South Koreans were steroid abusing, psycho, badasses.

Kuwait's episode is going to be exciting as it is one of the few Arab countries which is a bit democratic and one of those countries who after the gulf war still hasn't solved the case of Kuwaitis without nationality "Bidon" .

so basically all the kuwaitis are originally from neighboring countries. The ones with citizenship their ancestors lived in Kuwait long time before independence but for bedon they came later. of course some bedon get citizenship later depend on their family bound to kuwaiti citizen and other reasons. interesting to mention that some bedon have or can get citizenship in their original countries but they refuse and wants Kuwaiti.

Excuse me it is recognized by 112 states and yeah it is kinda offensive to us because i follow the channel and i support barbs but this is making me pretty mad, because we dont have the same language as our neighboor who claims that Kosovo is their territory, and we dont have any similarities, we are Albanians, its not like 2 similair culture group of population is dividing into 2 states, you have to be Kosovar and Albanian to understand what we've been through, but yeah im kinda used with the unfair things in this life so im heavily dissapointed
