Hearing that the future no buy is making you think deeper about what you buy is so great ! And the whole point of a no buy challenge is wanting to change, so I would bet that most people have the rebound reaction at first
what you said about just coasting professionally is something that resonates SO deeply. I have always felt like I’m not bringing my A game to all my periodic work evals because… it should be perfectly acceptable to just to keep on keeping on. why keep moving the goal post if that’s not something like aligns with your personal vision? like, what do you mean? I’m working and I’m working effectively and efficiently. there’s def something to be said about hard work but grinding for the sake of just being able to…what? participate in hustle culture? to what end? field domination? and who defines what “enough” is, you know? TL;DR: I love hearing you say that you’re content with what you’re doing SO much!! the benchmark should be personal fulfillment 🫶
Loved the video. Had me thinking about my professional goals for 2025 and I came up with „I just wanna survive“. This year my mental health was really bad and so I want to get through next year without time off of work due to my mental health.
😂😂 So great to see Haden, and the two of you on screen together, again! He's come such a long way from being kinda camera shy to now!!! 💖 Really valid points about goals and it being okay to just be content sometimes too and all as well. Nothing wrong with ambition, but nothing wrong with just living your life either, for sure.😊
Will you do a video on your personal no-buy rules? Since you are expecting continuing body changes, how will you reconcile needing clothes that fit with the no-buy? I am considering doing one myself, but I am also moving far from home next year and am wondering if a no-buy would just be too restrictive for this stage in my life. But some of the things you mentioned in a previous video, about how you are often buying for your fantasy self, really resonated with me and so I want to try potentially.
absolutely will! my no buy isn’t so much about not spending money but more so about not spending money unintentionally. i am going to have to buy basically a whole new wardrobe because of body changes. but i dont want to buy personal care items, makeup, home decor, other impulse purchases :)
I have started following you on good reads its so much fun to watch your progress on there. because i started following you I have got two books done yay
I’ve struck a middle ground balance on meal prepping. I used to run a kitchen. We would make one or two chicken marinades and leave them in the fridge. I do that at home now and the night before, I’ll usually put a piece of chicken in one of the marinades. I would have everything else for the meal prepped and then cook the meat at lunchtime. For example, this week I have stuff for copycat chipotle bowls (salad mix, cilantro lime rice, black means, Monterrey jack cheese, corn salsa). I cook the chipotle chicken when I’m assembling the bowl. Other examples are chicken ceasar salads, chicken tikka masala, chick fil a copycat grilled nuggets. Etc. Hope that’s helpful.
I'm excited to see your goals video, and I loved hearing your thoughts on goals and striving for the next best thing. I kind of have the same view at 25, like I just want a job that pays me well and that I'm happy with. I have no interest striving for the next best thing, it's nice to just exist and be happy and content. I actually cqan't believe you picked up Crying in H Mart as I literally got this book for Christmas (celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve with my family) so I'm excited to read it☺
So excited to hear you are going to try needlepoint! I have also just started learning and I took a project to do on vacation and it was so lovely in the evening to curl up on the couch and watch youtube videos and just embroider. I hope you enjoy it!
My folks and I shop in H Mart. They have the best seafood. They also have snacks there that I like trying. I did try shrimp chips there that I didn’t like. They have great grapes 🍇 and chocolate 🍫 candy that I like. They also have this hotdog 🌭 place inside of H Mart that you can get lots of toppings to get on hotdogs that are good there. I love their hotdogs .

Definitely resonate with what you said about keeping things the same professionally and not always striving for more more more. I just a good balance!

❤❤❤❤ you’ve inspired me to start a no buy! I’m invested in this, I’m gonna start consuming some no buy content
I like this eyeliner even better !
I need a no buy. I don’t do big purchases but little things cause they are cheap or on sale I’m so guilty of. It adds up.

i absolutely love the cam in the shot part of the video you look so pretty
Would you do a video here or main channel, advice you would give to a newbie youtuber starting in the new year?
Can you show us how you make your protein shake?
i don't prepare anything, it's just the premier protein drinks in the chocolate flavor
You look absolutely gorgeous😊...specially in the first clip in the bluish outfit ❤
