Hi! I have the Dyson Airwrap Long version which I think works very well for me because then it doesn’t matter if my hair is long or short (for the curling barrels)! If you can get the long version, I think you’ll have an easier time working with the Dyson🥰
Hi! In dry winter conditions, the hairstyle is perfect, lasts till the next wash. Humid conditions, not at all (but it doesn’t get horribly frizzy either).
Hi, Good, I came across your video. It was informative. I got my dyson Airwrap recently. I feel that product is not worth that hype, especially for south Indian's who have frizzy and curly hair :( I assumed this product was one stop solution for daily hair style needs, but it is not working as expected. After watching multiple videos and have put lot effort and got to know how to use it, but just for an hour only that style stays i dont know why ?? or I doubt if i am miss something. I use a loreal leave-in conditioner, Tresemme kertain serum before styling( I use voulmizing brush to do my daily hair style) after doing the finish is good, but eventually my hair changes back to the same wavy and frizzy. Any recommendations for me??
@@kavithaak7864 hi! Thank you for the lovely comment🥰 unfortunately you’re correct in your assessment of the airwrap. I think it comes down to the fact that it uses low heat so the style doesn’t really stay. I have curly hair and the biggest factor that determines if the hairstyling lasts is the weather. After November it works really well for me, and from June to October it’s pretty much useless. And in my personal experience, products only enhance the softness or shine in my hair, or I use them for heat protection. They’re not going to do much for longevity. That’s a bummer considering the high price. I’m conclusion-dry weather conditions and the airwrap is absolutely wonderful. Humid weather conditions especially near coastal cities is when it ends up being frustrating. I would say that skip the paddle brush and use the round brush attachment. The round brush works very well on my hair when it’s frizzy as compared to the other attachments. Best of luck:))
Thank you so much for the comment💕 and to make it easier for you to decide, just think of the following questions. 1. How often will you use the Airwrap? 2. Do you prefer a super straight look or a blow out look? 3. Do you live in an area that’s humid all through the year? Your purchase decision should come down to how much heat styling you plan on doing with the Airwrap. If not very regularly then it’s not worth the investment. Hope that helps😊
Thank you, I’m glad it helped❤️ I haven’t used the corrale but since it is a straightener, I think it’ll definitely perform better in humidity (as compared to the airwrap). I think the airwrap gets that unique tag because of the blow dry feature which the corrale doesn’t have (the Dyson Airstrait has it). If my experience with straighteners is anything to consider, they’re definitely able to handle humidity🥰
I have same curly hairs like you ….it damages the hair or not ??? Does the styles …blowout or curl stay on the hairs for 1 days i have heard that the style doesnt lasts more it tends to loose in 3-4 hrs ????
Hi! As far as hair damage is concerned, the Dyson is definitely better than other hot tools I have used (eg the Revlon brush and curling irons). That's because it uses low heat (somewhere around 180 degrees). But because of the low heat, the final outcome will not be as long-lasting as other very hot blow dryers. The Dyson will give you a very natural look, and for curly hair the round brush is the best attachment. But despite the very high price point, and the Dyson's inability to last a long time, my hair looks incredible when I use it and feels much softer. As I mentioned in my video, it is important to note that weather conditions and humidity makes a big difference and the Airwrap works very well in the winter months. If you're in by the sea, or in the rain, then the look does not last. So, these are factors to consider. Hope this helps:))
Hi! The Olaplex No 6 (it’s what I’ve used in the video) is a styling cream. When I use it before a blow dry, my hair feels softer and smoother. With such products it’s difficult to notice results very quickly. But when you don’t use them even once, your hair will definitely feel dryer. So this is a product I use to manage frizz. I don’t notice a huge difference in terms of how long the hairstyle lasts. But even if you don’t use Olaplex No 6, you should be using some sort of blow dry cream because it makes a huge difference-your hair will be more manageable, trust me❤️
Whatever I use in my videos are just products that have worked for me. Of course you can use any other mousse! Just make sure whatever you use is lightweight and doesn’t make your hair greasy. Read reviews before getting any product. I’ve heard that the Wella Professionals hair mousse is a good option, on the affordable side.
Hey, i am from mumbai and here it is highly humid currently. I have wavy, coarse and frizzy hair. Dyson is working fine for my hair but currently in this weather the effects lasts for very less time. I want to know one thing, from which part of the country you belong and does the dyson effect increases in november to january period. As earlier i was in delhi, there my natural hair texture was far better than what it is right now. My concern is this only, will it work fine during no humid period or in the dry areas of north india?
@@deeksha2943 hi! I’ve used the Dyson in both cities and it definitely works better in Delhi. Dyson hair looks amazing when it’s not humid (especially from November to May). In Bombay, the Dyson won’t last right now (it’s probably the worst time😂). But don’t worry, it ends up working great once the rains stop! And it’ll work better in Delhi, for sure.
Hey, Will the curls last until next wash? I have ordered but I am apprehensive about curls holding till next wash. I will try with curling mousse and leave-in conidioner though
Hey! So I have naturally curly hair so any curly heat style does tend to last a few days. On very straight hair, I’ve noticed that the curls do fall out (there will still be some movement in the hair). But the Dyson won’t give you very tight curls like a curling iron. More like a curly blow dry. Hope this helps🥰
I have hair like you,or maybe curlier,if possible 😅It's a constant challenge for me to straighten it out.I have tried many straighteners, but I think I should try Dyson now, after watching your video. I detest the rainy season & coastal areas for the same reason.😅
Haha yes it can be an absolute struggle! The Dyson Airwrap is pretty much useless from June to October because of the weather. If you can find hair straighteners from Remington or Babyliss, they’ve worked really well for me in humid weather (in coastal towns). The Dyson is definitely designed for a certain type of climate but the plus point is less heat damage🥰
Haiii ,i have the similar hair texture so with the brush will the hair last until wash like the style you have done first or is it better to use dyson hair straight on humid indian weather and curl with it or style the ends with it?
Hi! I think if you’re thinking of getting the Airwrap, it would be a better idea to get some use out of all the attachments. Otherwise it’d be better to go for an actual hair straightener. It all depends on the kind of look you want because the Airwrap is not a curling iron, or a straightener (it can be very confusing to explain this😂). So the curls don’t remain very tight till the next wash. Definitely not. What you get is a soft blow out look. I don’t have any experience with the Airstrait but yes, in the right weather conditions, the overall look of the Airwrap remains the same till my next wash😊
The oil product which you used in the last for your hair where do you get that I’m searching that in Amazon where do you get elsewhere like or if you suggest a good similar oil cost also less it will be helpful, with great difficulty I bought Dyson then don’t want to go to saloon please help me with this problem mam
So the one I used in the video is from Gisou, and I got it when I was abroad. But there are a lot of other options for finishing oils. The L’Oréal Elseve Extraordinary Serum has amazing reviews online (I haven’t used it myself yet), and it’s more affordable. It’s easy to find online:))
This page is so underrated. Glad I came across your channel
Thank you so much, your message is great motivation for me to keep uploading❤️❤️
Very well explained. Thank you!
Can you please suggest which model is the best?

For your hair how many hours did the straight effect stay? Even in humid climate and dry winter
