If only you knew how personal this song is for me…
My Grandpa was suffering from Alzheimer’s and he started to literally forget faces of his family. And my face was the very first to be erased from his mind. I can’t tell you how devastating is when your grandpa looks straight to the face of his only grandson and asks grandma: “Who is this guy?”
Every time I listen to this song I feel sad because of this memories but I also feel joy because I start to remember all the things we did together and all the wisdom he shared with me.

This bass player is over the top, I noticed all that he fills in the rhythm, and very impressive! \m/ \m/
Like I know the mix was intentional to bring the guitar way up front, but this track has something that becomes more noticeable because of it: The sheer protagonism that the strings take within this song. Like the guitar is deperatly trying to tell you something really pressing through her honest cries and rawring breaks, nasty sweeps and bubbly licks here and there just spice it up. Yo like WTF. Fucking Eli just showcasing his hellish cowboy space alien vibes again. Seemingly efforless too. Booming chords and leads, like come on... Like everyone has played their part masterfully in this whole track, but this fucking kid just lassoed it all together and rode it all the way through entire galaxies and - instead of landing - just leaves you hanging suspensefully in the air as he just cuts off while screaming, sliding and bending away... like the guitar's just tossed you a question it won't stick around to listen to the answer.

Idk if yall will read this, but the extra style or pizzaz you put into playthroughs such as here or in strange candy give the playthrough a unique enough sound that to me qualifies the playthroughs as their own unique song. I prefer this over the album version 122%

Hell yea dude! ERASED! Been waiting for this one. I actually have been wanting you to do this jam for a while. I believe I suggested “Why?” a while back and though that song is sic also, this was the song I actually meant. Badass cleans!!! Though you can still do Why as I am sure nobody would complain ha. I Luv the live version of it you guys have on your Live Album. Your a sic player 👍🤘🎸. I finally had the opportunity to watch this. Had to travel and cool thing though, I have a Sam Ash next to my hotel and was stoked to be able to play a guitar with not being able to bring any of mine with me. I jammed on the new Black Ocean ESP LTD MH-1000 QM. That guitar is insanely awesome! I played it in store for about an hour I had available. I love my PRS’s but that ESP/LTD is like being in guitar Heaven. The pickups in it are so sic 🤘. Definitely not cheap $$ wise but may have to invest in one of those asap. Have ESP hook you up with one of those. Anyway, kickass play throughs as always James. We’ll see you dudes on stage again hopefully sooner than later brother.👍🤘🎸
