I was so excited to watch them close and this being my first experience so i bought a Premium 2 Ticket (which is being in the second row from the stage). Honestly? Never again. Couldn't see shit and people were pushing us all over the place. I'll never recommend going on a concert and buy a "closer to stage" ticket. @Vadge Halliday Also, people in this thread are spreading misinformation (as in most places on the internet). While it's true that there were some egoistical pricks who danced on top of the emergency vehicles, if one looks up the videos for huge part of the concert, those fans who saw and knew what was happening kept chanting 'stop the show' etc and trying to get Travis to fully stop the show so that every person needing help can be saved and the injuries evaluated. And it was A LOT of people who were trying to help rather than focusing on the fun, as long as they were in a section where they knew something bad was happening.

I was in that crowd and no one has control of where they get to step.. as much as i would personally try/ want to get someone up, it has to be known that the crowd sways so fast and uncontrollably that if an average sized person tried to help someone up, they would also end up trampled. Genuinely, the only time I felt that would've been possible was when the music stopped or if there were a few large guys to withstand the crowd for a second or two to pull them back up
(For context: I didn't step on anyone and I was toward the back of the crowd and if it was that bad back there I can't imagine how bad it was in the front. I did end up in a pile of people on the ground but thankfully since we were towards the back we were able to get pulled back up within a minute or 2)

There should never be 50,000 of anything at a concert, especially if there’s not adequate space. Someone know why this was allowed, think about how many people that is……..50,000! 😡

There was space problem was everyone once to be close the the stage so those in the back were pushing forward. I was at a festival not to long ago we were only like 500 or so and I was at the front people were pushing so much it was hard to breathe so I can’t imagine

Plenty of concerts that were even more crowded and far crazier than this have gone on without anyone dying. Look up the video "Slayer - Raining Blood (Download Festival 2005)" far larger crowd and insane crowd but the fans know and to help someone up if they go down so they don't get trampled at heavy metal shows. Not sure if it's a generational thing but how can you not stop to help someone get up?? Such a horrible story.

There are literal tiktok videos showing fans trying to rush the stage very early to alert staff that there were already dead people in the crowd. Not just passed out, but dead. These people confirmed that there were dead people and the staff brushed them off. One includes a camera man doing nothing as a woman screams at him to stop the concert.

@@mimicmage of course it’s a lie..shit was a ritual. whether your religious or not, anybody in these comment sections can do this to verify my math. It was Kris Jenners 66th birthday. The festival was held 666 months and 6 days after the founding of the Church of Satan. I hate conspiracy’s but the study of numerology is pretty legit…many more people died at that concert than the news is reporting (just look up the videos of twitter of different dead bodies and it’s way more than 8). This is way more than just a simple misunderstanding, this was a satanic ritual. Lmao anyone can call me crazy but all you have to do is subtract r the dates. This happened on November 6, 2021. The church of satan was founder April 30, 1966. Find a date calculator and put in the dates if u think it’s truly bullshit. There’s no such thing as coincidences…but let’s say what I’m saying is bullshit consider this: 50,000 plus people all jumping, raging, and stampeding and you really wanna believe that out of 50,000 plus people only 8 people died? Really? But let’s say only 8 people died, is it just another coincidence that the stage had 8 pits for flames and when the first person died the main screen said “see you on the other side”…

Why didn't they show the video of him saying who told me to stop? Raise both hands, you know what you came here to do. Then starts playing music.... who is gonna raise their hands when all this chaos is going on and traumatized and catching their breath. And he continues the show right away. Why don't they show the video of him higher up than everyone overseeing the crowd and looking down in front of him of a passed out person being carries out and him performing watching... its scary and creepy. The media is already spinning the narrative. He will get away with this just like Caitlin Jenner when she killed someone in a car crash. Also he encourages crowds to do this all the time.

Crowd surges are for real… and a bunch of ragers who might’ve been at their first event in a long time? I can only imagine. Only silver lining is that I’m sure we’ll see an improvement in concert safety going forward. Thoughts and prayers are with the families affected.
