I'm think that if you used felting, you could make the holly leaf shape you originally wanted. right? 💖🌞🌵😷
Yep!
I found your channel last week and ordered looms right after. I've twined lots of rugs, but this is such a nice change of pace! You're a good teacher and pleasant to listen to. And, trust me, it took like 10 seconds to realize the value of that arc while weaving. 😊 I'm hoping to make lots of pretty things to sell along with my crocheted bears.
Hermosos tus trabajos.❤ Saludos desde Argentina. Feliz año 2024!!!🎉
Thank you! Happy New Year to you as well!
Thank you!❤
So cute! Can't wait to try it out 😊❤️
Yay! Thank you!
I have a question for you, because some animal fibers are not humanely obtained (mulesing, etc.), I want to stick with natural/vegan fibers. Have you worked with them (I'm sure you have) and have you noticed any major differences? Especially with Roving? I've noticed that some fibers have a sheen to them. Does it take away from the finished product and make it look cheap? Thank you for your amazing videos. You're incredibly inspiring. :)
I actually haven't woven with any vegan rovings so I can't speak to how well they would work or not for needle felting- however all the wool roving I sell in my shop is mulesing free if you are interested in trying wool. spruceandlinen.com/collections/wool-roving For these little pompoms I'm sure vegan fibres would work very similarly to wool.
Thank you SO much for the info! I appreciate you taking time to reply. I will bookmark your site as cruelty-free products are important to me! Especially after learning what mulesing is😭(if you're someone reading this and don't know what that is, I strongly suggest you educate yourself!). Thank you so very much for your content. You're incredible and I learn something new and wonderful every time. Thank you for sharing your gift! I'll buy you some coffee here shortly!☕@@spruceandlinen
@@heavilymeditated2022I used a very coarse hairbrush to brush out my acrylic wool to use in my felting.
Works perfectly
Super cute!
Thank you! 😊
