A good question I haven't seen anyone answer. Combining sleeping pills and antidepressants, which increase serotonin levels, with those supplements that also increase serotonin and GABA levels, can lead to a condition called Serotonin Syndrome, and it's bad. The question raised is, how to remove these drugs, use the supplements, and manage the withdrawal? Good video by the way!
No it does not, the issue isn’t just the blue light, any type of light will alter your sleep at night that’s because at night, the retinal ganglion cell, becomes more sensitive, so just little light stimulation in any kind would interrupt the natural sleeping process.
Brother I have a question. Huberman mentions getting sunlight at the start and end of the day. If I work graveyard shift do I basically reverse this? Wake up and get evening light in my eyes and then after work get morning light in before sleep?
No, you dont need to reverse it, it would be ideal to just sleep when the sun is out you dont have to look at it, if you been working for so long, your ultradian cycle is already working in reverse.
