Those "funny pictures" describes the accidents (fall from horse, stairs) or disasters where Virgin Mary helped those people to survive it. You dont have to go there straight by stairs, you can also go by the road to the hill or use the public transport bus. Or if you are tourist, you can go through 18km holly road from Březnice to Příbram Holly Mountain. And there are more "holly montains" in the Czech republic - for example Zelená Hora in Žďár nad Sázavou (registered in UNESCO), Svatý Hostýn and Svatý Kopeček in Moravia. And many more.
Loved this video as always. But this one was a bit different. It was like exploring an area even you hadn't been to👌. loved the fresco's but like you said, WHY ALL THE DRAMA🤔? You thought they were done by amateurs maybe? I can't imagine going to work in a mine car like that. It looked more like an amusement ride or roller coaster ride. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE VIDEO.👌
Great video as always even if it didn’t go to plan, but I’ll give it a miss🤪. I think it’s great that you go and do these things and place’s👍. Hope to see you on the 16th September👍
Thanks for another fine video! I have visited Prague several times, but I've never been outside the city. I'm originally from West Virginia, U.S., but fortunately, none of my family had to work in the coal mines the state was famous for. I'm not religious, but that church on the Holy Mountain looks opulent! It would be worth the climb to see it!
Earlier this year saw a Mahler symphony (No.5) performed live. I thought he was born in Prague, his bio says Kaliste. The itiniary says I can take the high speed train from Rome to Prague, that would be stupende!
@@xsc1000 true. But many Nazis like Himmler, Rosenberg, and Bormann locked up many priests and did everything they could to push their anti-Christian agenda. They destroyed many churches during the war.
Our city Příbram -they say it was 1st time in history where sb reached 1km deep in the mine (18- begin of 19th century) there were also many communists gulags, labor camps, uranium mines, ,,Tower of death,, etc etc around city (mine Svornost...)
I recently visited Prague and I must tell you, your videos helped me a lot to plan my trip. Thank you very much for nice content.
It’s such an amazing place. Right? It’s so beautiful
Definitely worth the climb - thanks for the video. Do take us to Hora Říp in the future!

That employee railway was interesting. People had to take it down to the mine every day for years. I much prefer living in the 21 century to the 19
Its not steam train, it worked maybe to 70s.
RPGs putting a smile on my face on a difficult day!!! Thanks RPGs
Hope all is well!
I continue to really enjoy your sense of humour - and the information of course!

Yay!! Valerie is back!!
Another great video. And thank goodness that the Nazis didn’t destroy that beautiful church during the occupation.
😊❤️
Nazis normally didnt aim against churches. But during the communist time, the churches were not maintained for a long time so they decay.

I can tell from the way you talk that your country identifies with the West, not just you. Was Hitler the West? No! The West is a frame of mind.
