People always say "pick a niche" in graphics design but I haven't seen an explanation as clear as yours. I just picked a couple that I'm ridiculously good at. Would be working on creating bundles and packages. Ronny, you and Diana are doing good work with your channel. I'm a testimony to that. Thank you for all you do. This video helped a lot. PS: Would appreciate a portfolio video as well.🤲🏾
Great! Thank you for the helpful video!!! The only thing, that will be very hard for me, is to show myself. I am not only an introvert person but also a bit down at the moment. Lost my job and beside that overburned myself a bit 😅 I will never be able to act so enthusiastic and cheered-up as you do, Ronny. So I need to find a way to let my personality shine through. Maybe a picture + a short podcast about me should work too.
I understand it’s not easy Cornelia, and I’m sorry to hear you feel a bit down at the moment. My advice is to start, with whatever you feel comfortable… but also push yourself. Get out of your comfort zone and try some new things.
Great video. Finally I understand what a niche is. I never understood this before. Now that I know my niche, I know where to go and get my customers. Thank you
Very usefull information there, ronny! This will 100% help the people who want to earn money as a graphic designer. I love watching your videos and i hope you continue to make them. They really help people alot. 😄🙂
We sure hope that this new series of videos about Freelancing will help our community generate an income as a designer. Thanks for being with us since so long Princess, we really appreciate and enjoy your positive energy and supporting comments 💛✨
Your chair, desk and monitor are the most important things before you start with training. My own desk is adjustable as well as the chair can tilt forward. Not every chair or desk are made for every user. Education is something you should not skimp on either.
You’re so right Peter! A good chair and desk setup is very important. It helps remain healthy but also has an impact on your mental health and creativity 🤩
This video was excellent! you put so much work into it. Some of the best tips, some of the tips were better than what I learned in graphic design school lol seriously
This was so informative, Ronny. I’ve never heard anyone mention the mentoring ask before - it’s brilliant. Also got some great ideas on niches. I wonder, do you use contracts?
Thanks Cathy, I’m glad you enjoyed the tips in this video 🫶 I’d recommend you create and use a contract if you start working with clients as a freelancer, yes. It’s a great way to protect yourself and bring clarity to the project.
Hi Ronny, Such a greatly helpful video! To say that I've binge watched Diana and your tutorials, would be an understatement. You guys make a simple tool like canva even more interesting with your tutorials! Thank you so much!

Bro could u tell how to start freelancing from scratch without experience as beginner autocad design engineer like essential points to know & adapt but building trust & getting projects from clients quickly.. what's the crucial things to keep in mind while starting the journey into an uncertain field ?
Hi Mohib, That’d be a good topic for a future video. I already give you 6 steps to get started in this video, what did you think about them? We’re they useful?
@@TeamRonDi Yes its very helpful ! to get started, but i m in a different field of construction design industry which works with software's like autocad, revit, ms excel etc so what would you suggest for me to do effectively to get clients initially without being stuck in competition of the market & as a lesser experience person in comparison with others.. how can beginners achieve massive success in the freelancing despite of adversity..
You can use the comments to leave some information to your team about specific things in your design. I speak about comments in different videos on the channel 😊
Sorry to be that guy but the title is misleading. According to yourself in 16:00, this is a guide on "how to become a freelancer" rather than "how to make money as a freelancer". Your title suggests you will show us how to make money in practice. Fortunately, you have timestamps and we can realize early that is not the case.
Thanks for sharing your honest opinion with us 🙏 I do believe the video will help people earn money because it will help them get started as a freelancer. Once you start working with client, you’ll start making money.
Thanks but i think you jump 🦘 above something important .. getting customers ready to buy . are the most difficult things.. please can you make videos about how to get traffic for my services ? By my experience: 5000 visit for my services got me few Sales even all the work was made by expert... So i think we should think of getting targeted customers far from ADs .. hope you got new ideas 💡 thanks again your videos areeasy to understand and smooth
Ads you will pay a lot to have more views only the top paying show up more, build organic traffic and share things you know so ppl learn and when they hit a wall and can't do things you can that's when you profit

I have a question,
Is 100% SRGB screen/display is important to become a CANVA graphic designer ?
Hey there 👋
Don’t let the tech be an obstacle. I’d advise you to start with what you have and progressively reinvest your earnings into your business.

Maybe there are other jobs you can do only with a phone, but if you are looking for graphic Design gigs, I'd recommend you have access to a computer.
Im so sorry. I'm having a hard time getting past the glasses without lenses. Not sure why they are necessary but it's off putting to say the least.

can we add AI voices making a video with canva app??
You can import audio files, but Canva doesn’t have any AI voice overs feature.
