Mother Nature's Mousetrap: The Red-Tailed Hawk

Conservation Educator Geoff Roberts tells us all about the red-tailed hawk. A species native to Kentucky, the red-tailed hawk is a common raptor throughout the bluegrass state, so you've probably seen one while driving down the road.
You can see this red-tailed hawk at the Salato Wildlife Education Center in Frankfort, Kentucky. Salato is part of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources and is meant to educate youth and adults on the importance of hunting, fishing, and conservation.
