My last name is Hawkes, and I approve of this message.
I just saw about 30 hawks flying around all the same species. Never seen that many at once. A few months ago it was buzzards.
Where do you live
I call them chicken killers every time I see one... I've lost at least 4 chickens to them... I've had a few of my chickens straight up vanish out of nowhere.... and without anything left behind. Now I'm not 100% for sure it's hawks that did it but I've seen and hear them around here... and I've seen one in a tree by the chicken house.

It could also be a Turkey vulture. They are commonly mistaken for hawks but I don’t know much about turkey vultures so I’m not sure.
Correction, the ferruginous hawk is the largest hawk species, not the goshawk 👍
Lovely birds, but shitty video: The bird shown as #4 at 1:11 is not a sparrow hawk. As you can see, it is a pretty large bird, probably a ferruginous hawk or rough-legged buzzard. The small bird shown right after is not even a hawk, but a falcon. At 1:20 it's also a falcon (easily recognizeable by the wire cutter-like beak with a toothy protrusion right behind the hook), not a hawk. At #6 (1:49) we have an eagle, a distant relative to hawks, but having a much larger beak in relation to the head. #8 (2:28) another falcon (female kestrel). And what is shown as "pellets" right after is either bird feed or wood-fire chips but not the kind of fur balls hawks cough up after digesting their food. After this, the videos shows the same footage over and over.

1:11 is not a rough-legged buzzard (buteo Lagopus) but I think a juvenile red tailed hawk (buteo Jamaicensis).
1:49 is a Harris hawk, but I suppose you are talking about the next bird which is an eagle. And eagles are not only distantly related, every eagle is actually a "hawk" but not every hawk is an eagle. Bald eagles actually are more related to kites and buzzards (subfamily Buteoninae "buzzard-like birds"), which are considered "hawk" species, than to other species called eagle.
Eagle is just a word for a large and thick billed bird of the hawk family, even though I agree that colloquially eagles are not known as hawks.

I been seeing hawks after my love one passed! And this is actually a good sign because it means when you see a hawk after someone past away and you been seeing it a lot it means there are the hawk!

Eagles family of birds are not smart animals. Their behaviour is weird. Today I was close to tear up a bigger hawk bare hand on my balcony that came for the pigeons I was feeding. It escaped but lost lots of feather. They are not fast at all. All they have is sharp and strong claw and beak as they are genetically soulless predators.
