awesome ride! i noticed that in the first part you disconnected the traction control, but what's the other amber light that remained on? did you find a way to disconnect the ABS?
Its the "Check Engine light" its on because i disconnected the ABS with a fuze on/off switch i installed. it stays on to tell you that the ECU has logged a fault, but then turns itself off after sometime or 4-5 engine starts, where the ecu nolonger see the "fault".
What type of switch is exactly, does it also have a fuse? From where did you get it? How does the triumph performs in dirt roads shown in these video, do you use knobby tires? Is it worth it or better to get the street scrambler?
If you know you will be doing dirt roads alot and want a classic "modern" Triumph, go for the Street Scrambler, its got higher suspension, higher bars and you can switch off TC and ABS in the ECU menu on the handlebars. much easier. On this ST, i have no knobby tires, and the switch is mads as so: removed the fuze to the ABS, inserted 2 pins in the fuze "hole" looped them with a fuze and a switch that i have hidden under the tank, so you dont see it. done. Bonus info: if ABS is switched off and you try to start the bike, it works as an immobiliser, because the bike wont start without the ABS signal.
@@spinouteu9627 would you be willing to make a video of this process? I’m trying to turn my t120 into a proper hooligan flat tracker and need a work around of this
You guys are funny ... the smallest pieces of gravel on the road/track and you are riding in standing position even at 20 mph 😂 Guess you took an Enduro class for a couple of hundred Dollars somewhere 😉
Good vid
👏👏👏You make my day👏👏👏 I hope I can disconnect the ABS too on my T120
Where did I see you had pics of the switch you built to disable the abs? I thought I had saved them but now can't find
