I’m only 30 and I’d heard stories from my mum that my Nan used to wear no5 when my mum was younger and it wasn’t very well liked because it was really heavy and strong. So I was really surprised when I tried it on Tuesday that I liked it. In fact I liked it so much that I purchased the original no5 the l’eau no5 and the no5 eau premiere along with chanel coco.
Hi Laura! Chanel is my favorite range! I love the N°5 line, as well as the N°19 one. I think you should try Jersey, from Les Exclusifs line. It's a gorgeous sweet powdery lavender that I totally adore! It gives me N°19 Poudrée vibes. I love your perfume collection videos!!
My favorite Chanel perfumes are No 22, Beige, Jersey, and No 5 Premiere. I also really enjoy the pure perfume version of No 5. It’s very soft and feels more like the Premiere version to me. Since you really enjoy that one so much I’m thinking you would really like No 22 as well. Another similar one in the same vein of No 5 (to me) is 1932 so you might enjoy that one as well. I can’t wear any in the Coco line either for the same reason as you.
I went on a trip to Chicago and went to the Chanel store. I was like “ Darn it I’m going to be a Chanel girl today!”😊 Smelled so many fragrances that my nose/brain got confused and couldn’t decide on anything. Womp Womp. I think the next time I go to a Chanel counter I will just test Allure!
Allure EDT and EDP are both such wonderful fragrances. You won’t go wrong selecting either. I recently purchased Coromandel and it’s beautiful once it dries down. I’m thinking of purchasing Beige next 😊
I’m not a fragrance wearer...how is it that NOW I want a Chanel fragrance?? Lol! Do you own any Louis Vuitton fragrances? Last time I bought a handbag at LV I asked for fragrance samples and haven’t even tried them yet.
Also, I got a sample of Coco Mademoiselle and wanted to love it since my baby granddaughter’s nickname is Coco...but it’s a no-go for me. My daughters both dislike perfumes...they have some sort of hyper-sensitive smellers....hence I never wear them.
Unfortunately, I have the same issue with the Coco line. Coco Noir is the most tolerable for me and the og Coco is the worst! Such a lovely scent, but it triggers a migraine in me within seconds! Coco Mademoiselle doesn't hurt my head, but turns my stomach after a few hours for some reason :)
