Have you ever tried Tim Holtz Distressed Ink or Oxides for watercoloring? I'm fairly new to your channels and don't recall seeing you use them. I use them quite frequently for my crafting and would be interested to see you use them! I am planning to get one of the glass pens from watching your video with it!

To answer the question as to why Michael’s has Christmas stuff out- it’s the nature of being a craft store. A lot of crafters need their supplies extra early so they have time to make their products for craft shows. Especially around Christmas, that tends to be one of the busiest times.
Those weren't so much craft supplies as they were decorations. Sure, some of it could be crafted into something, but if crafting was the intent, that would be an awful selection of supplies.

You should check out the Dr.Ph Martins liquid hydrus or radiant watercolors! They are absolutely amazing and so pigmented, I have hydrus and it works a little differant from the radiant but I love it!
You didn't say if you were going to dry the playdoh, and it's probably too late to say that I tried that once and it cracked in a million tiny unfixable ways. ':D
