Exactly. Like it's their occasion. It's their day. They can do the most outrageous thing. If you don't like it, just don't go but don't try to ruin their day
Those "You need to get over your fears" types are terrible parents. They scream at their child for being afraid, belittle them, and force them into things that cause them either physical or emotional pain. They're also shocked af when their children aren't afraid of them anymore. Despite teaching their children that fear is a weakness.
Yes somebody I know in school when I went to school was named Kip. He was a really nice guy. It was actually quite popular. But what was great about him is he treated everybody with kindness and love. He didn't believe in being different social groups. He was just friendly with everybody. So bless that kip
I say “Subscribe!” with Charlotte at the end of her videos, and I say “Bye bye!” with Kevin at the end of his videos. This finishing touch is like the iconic Amen 🙏
I kept cringing during the item about Chris Fisher because I know someone by that name, but she’s a she and not full of herself. And this Chris is the asshole, not OP.
S4 Chris is definitely a douche, but OP is a wimp. I definitely would have left at the said time. If they had been still asleep, too bad. I've been in situations like those before. As soon as your own agenda gets wrecked by their actions, you need to get out. I've waited to the last minute, but not a minute beyond.
First story, the sister struggled to make friends? You do not say... How surprising 😂😂 well she sounds like a horrible, selfish person, of course no one wanted to be her friend. My way or the highway rarely works with sane people. And the parents are full of BS, they didn't know... Right 🙄🤦🏼♀️ hypocrites, they just play nice because they want to see their future grandkids
S11 oh OP so you're the pretty one... We're not having all of the story. Lilly definitely feels threatened, she's not over the boyfriend or it's linked to the sister who doesn't like her... I would just look for other friends and potentially BF
I wish more weddings did color schemes for guests. I had the unfortunate horror of getting a new, pretty purple dress for a wedding.. Only for the dress to be near identical to the bridesmaid dresses. This was at my step brother's wedding, and I was mortified. I didn't have any other fancy dresses. (The couple wasn't upset or anything, but having multiple people assume I was part of the wedding party was uncomfortable to say the least.) I now always ask what the colors of the dresses are so I can avoid doing that again. Which means having to explain this story every time I go to a wedding... For the record, it wasn't a common shade of purple for weddings at that time! It wasn't lilac-adjacent. I don't know the name of the shade exactly though.
1:22:12 I totally get what the OP was saying here. the level of drama generated from rejecting a coworker whose been at the job longer than you and is better connected to other staff is something I wouldn't want to wish on my worst enemy. Also when their so much older than you... *shudders*
The dead boyfriend story reminds me of when parents get kids as a substitute when their child dies. I feel like the girlfriend is trying to replace her dead boyfriend with this one because she tries to get him to act like her dead boyfriend. I might be making assumptions but this story is just sad all-round and it sounds like the girlfriend isn’t ready for a relationship yet and should go therapy, I dunno therapy is always good for people.
story 9: i see a lot of the behaviours of op's youth in myself. i am still young (I'm an adult, but still quite young). never been interested in parties, drugs, didnt drink alcohol until it was legal for me to do so (turns out i don't like the taste of it, sometimes I will drink something low in alcohol that doesn't taste alcoholic with my family, but its not a big deal for me), never needed a curfew because I was never out late (unless I was at a sleepover, which i got my parents' permission first), etc etc I believe I did this because I am autistic. autistic ppl often stick to rules as written, even when its normalised or even expected to break them. my brother is the exact opposite (the impulsivity and thrill seeking from his adhd took over), so it wasn't our parents parenting style (they had a kinda "first rule, don't do this, but second rule, if you are going to do it, be safe about it and we will help you if thats what it takes to know you are safe" mindset). not liking parties (sensory nightmare and dont like lots of strangers) or alcohol (very sensitive to all senses including taste) would likely also be because of the autism, but even if I did like them, I still wouldn't have broken those rules, and still likely wouldn't. I have the same mindset over social media (the rule was at least one of our parents had to follow us (or at minimum not be blocked), and dont have too many and they can make us disable the account if bad things happened (but i dont remember this one being enforced, but idk if thats just nothing bad happened or what)) and even now, as an adult no longer bound by those rules, I still have a very low online presence (youtube, pinterest, bluesky, discord, facebook (only because my mum likes to tag me in posts and its how i contact the place i volunteer for), whatsapp, and I have most of these set to private or mutuals only). out of curiosity sometimes I do wonder what drugs and parties and all these rebelious things would be like for me, but never in a way I would consider them seriously the point I was getting to was from the limited snapshot of their life they shared, op may be autistic. I'm not trying to armchair diagnose, that is for op and their medical team to determine with a full picture of their life, i'm just saying their behaviour and mindset is similar to mine as an autistic person
oh god I read this and just went ‘uh oh’ to myself multiple times. the more of these sorts of stories I encounter, the more and more I become convinced I probably have autism. 😅
38:53 girl you BETTER NOT have sent him the money 😔 I’m glad you left him but he does not deserve a final payment from you !!! 😭 that makes my blood boil for you
No op first story not the a hole it’s his wedding he decides who stays and goes if he wants everyone to have a certain color then ok that’s that end of story
S9 yeah she needs therapy. I don't think she's truthful when she says she would never do anything to ruin her life. Her regrets while I understand because I was extremely reasonable (okay I liked drinking lots with my friends so maybe not THAT reasonable), but I don't dwell about what I didn't do. She sounds like someone who wants that excitement and... Well we've seen on reddit how that usually ends.
@@ABadPasswordthe fact you are a wrestling fan is so fucking cool, I was NOT expecting a RUclipsr I watch often to offhandedly mention KIP SABIAN of all people lmao
It is strange how many people are actually unable to comprehend that weddings are about the will of the couple, not theirs.
Exactly. Like it's their occasion. It's their day. They can do the most outrageous thing. If you don't like it, just don't go but don't try to ruin their day
I think adopted sis was making it about her as usual. This time she learned, she is not the center of the universe.

I love this guy hes so chaotic

1:54:01 this guy sounds like he has a hero complex.
The depth and complexity of your storytelling is extraordinary, pulling readers in and leaving them thinking long after they’ve finished reading. 🧠🌟
i would have slayed that color scheme event. i have so many beautiful yellow outfits
Well those grandchildren are gonna be messed up when they get older and find out why grandpa doesn't love them.

There is a difference between stepping out of your comfort zone and overstepping a boundary.

I mean- magenta and teal? Best colour scheme
+10 Respect
OMG another video ❤❤ after the long break I was so worried 😅😁
About story number 2: I'll go ahead and say it. She's being emotionally abusive and OP should just break up with her and spare themself anymore abuse.
Wow. Sister is a narcissist. Nta.

47:18 this guy sounds like my dream guy… if she didn’t really want him, I’ll gladly step up to the plate
50:54 well he was until he did drugs… lame

You're right!

That's actually Kif not Kip. They sound super similar, though.
Kip is definitely a name people use, I know some people who have that name
I dont think I could ever have a straight face if someone calls themselves ' Kip' in front of me... as Kip = chicken in Dutch xD
@ they’re from the country I think.
You are not TA she didn't obey the colour scheme, and that's reasonable why
