Third, it's a known fact that game audio tends to go out of sync running this setup with the fix requiring you to disable and enable OBS link every time. My recommendation if you continue to experience these issues, or you have an M1 chip system is to get the HD60S+.
I don’t know if you answer this kind of stuff but will this work with my quad-core MacBook Air? I’m planning on getting an HD60s for my PS4 but I’m not really sure if my computer could handle it. hey guys, if you’re trying to get the NDI Source input to show up after downloading it, I just simply restarted my Mac and it popped up on OBS! I hope reading this saved you some trouble

When I open up my source list, there's no NDI... UPDATE: I needed to download the newest version of OBS. In addition to that, the Elgato Capture software does not need to be running, which should save some CPU.

Midnight man, so I’m a DJ trying to live stream my DJ sets in my studio, I want to DJ videos music videos, so I’m using video DJ software and I’m out putting it and splitting into two hdmi cables one that goes on my second monitor so I can watch the actual video and the other one that goes to my Elgato HD 60 into my 2020 Mac mini with M1 chip I downloaded the plug-ins you said OBS link and NDI and I do see it is reading the capture card although one in OBS I cannot find under properties NDI Option for nothing. I won’t pop up all I see is video capture display capture etc. no NDI option do you know what’s going on can you help me?
this is a total life saver! mine still wasn't working but I read through the comments and I realized my OBS link was set to disabled, so now it's working great!
@@NikaSaurusRahwr if you open the OBS Link application after downloading, you'll see its symbol in the top right menu (next to the wifi symbol) click on that and if it's disabled it'll tell you and you should have the option to choose the Game Capture device option instead! Hope this helps!

So I did what you demonstrate and I was able to get my video all configured. But for some reason, the audio gameplay isn't being picked up by OBS or the ELGATO software.

I got the HD60 S today and was hooking it up with OBS, there's only one problem, on my OBS, after I sort out the NDI source, the window is slightly too small so there is now black bars on the top and bottom of my screen. Any ideas? If I try and fit it perfectly in the screen, the PS4 gameplay is a bit distorted

Yes it's possible, I recommend looking into the Elgato HD60s+ and the elgato cam link adapter for DSLR cameras into webcams. As long as your MacBook Pro has a quad core processor you will be good to go!
So far it was always working, since I installed MacOS Ventura... OBS Link is on the Startup and I can't get into the settings nor is the NDI source working

Same. Strange that nobody mentions this, as it makes audio pretty much unusable.
@@krawz187 You can set a delay in the game footage and web cam to match it all up. It takes a bit, I did it for about 25 min to get it right.
Randy XB00MIN1 but the game audio in my headphones will still be delayed and out of sync from the video on the TV. 🤷♂️

I use my Mac pro 2016 duocore and it works great. I know I can’t get 60 frames but it looks really good I do believe you can still play on duocore

The mic of the iPad won’t get picked up, you’ll need to use a usb or computer microphone
