- Now that budokai tenkaichi 4 is real and coming to us soon, I wanted to get the three idiots together so that we could take on the final boss of Dagonball Z Budokai tenkaichi 3! SSJ4 gogeta was already strong enough but can we beat him now that we've modded him to be 10x stronger!?

And a combo of a Max Power ability and the Wild Sense (even better than the after image abilities) is arguably the best possible duo of abilities for a BT3 character

They can interrupt you but with only specials of their own, even missed you are immune to normal interruptions

Still one of the most detailed Dragon Ball games to this day. The fact that SSJ4 Goku has super armor against lower forms of Baby is incredible.
All the iconic Dragonball air clashes being implented in the game is still something that hits after all these years

@@thefam9179 Baby through Super Baby 1 ( and possibly 2 as well) were unable to make SSJ4 Goku flinch by punching him in game which goes hand in hand with the actual show where heavily suppressed SSJ4 Goku tells Super Baby 2 that his punches only tickle him at best. Meanwhile, Super 17 and Omega are able to stagger SSJ4 Goku with their punches in the game because they were actual threats to him in the show itself.
@@ssj4ssbgogeta957 Yea that was a nice detail they put to all the characters in this game based on power level, but after a while it got old. That’s the one detail I don’t wanna see return and just enjoy using who I want in a fighting game based on how well I can use them

So one really neat thing about this game is that if you're playing any of the androids that can absorb ki through their hands (like super 17), you can actually charge your ki by using the input that (normally) reflects ki blasts. If you do this, they'll actually stick their hands out and absorb the ki blasts as they get close and you get ki back as a result. The only thing it doesn't work on (if I remember correctly) is super moves.
Damn, I wish i scrolled down and read you r comment first. At least I know I didn't just make that up, it's been years since I played tenkaichi and I wasn't sure. Iirc though, it totally works on supers too, just not ultimates.
You can still absorb Super Move, but it must be a Beam. Ki blast volley?/barrage tupe of move is non-absorbable for some reason, and so is the pierce type beam like Death Beam and Special Beam Cannon. I forgot if you can absorb a Ball Super like Big bang or Burning attack or not. Ultimate is a no-no.
No it does work on Super moves. But only on big energy Beam Super and energy Ball supers. The supers that won’t get a word are any supers that pierces. Ex Special Beam Canon & Death Beam. Or has a cutscene that activates when hit such as Super Spirit Bomb or Father/Son K-Wave.
The androids that can do this are Android #19, Dr. Gero and Super 17. And yes, you can absorb supers like energy waves
You also forgot if they do the grab they absorb ki as well. Most people forget the grab for the androids can do this. I know this because i got grabbed by android 19 and he took my ki. Well 17 and 18 didn't need to do it as they was claim to have unlimited ki but DBGT took that away as Super 17 gets the absorb things in his hands as well as the power to just absorb it with his body. They also show that 18 lost a lot of energy but she was suppose to be human because of krillin.

As a tip: When in a rough combo, double tap L1 to break free at a cost of some health. + super 17, Gero and 19 can aborb ki + kamehameha type attacks with O button and moving stick left and right

You guys gotta throw decoy ki blasts first before you use one of your specials it helps a lot. Also for a more successful guard break just jump (not fly) and use your strong strike that way

Dbz bt3 ssj4 goku actually has the second highest ultimate damage without potaras as Goku (Mid) powering the spirit bomb to max insta kills anyone below 3 bars of health
lowkey wouldve ended way differently if they knew how to use super 17's super busted absorption aka the thing that makes him an easy top 5 char in this game lol
Idk if Super 17's Ki absorption would help at all, he barely used the normal Big Bang Kamehameha and the small ki blasts wouldn't have given Super 17 enough Ki to super attack in time to deal actual damage to Gogeta
He isn't too broken when I don't need ki to win :) usually break guard over and over and deplete the other persons ki. This gogeta is one of the few that get me close I think in clashes? I don't remember I never lost them :P

to be fair the point of them not being able to charge up means they get to be excessively aggressive without worrying about *having* to charge up lol

We need the rematch one of this days, its already at more than 20k likes. (btw if you are going with the gt bosses team again super 17 can absorb ki so it isn´t as bad as other androids)
When you go into MAX power mode and dodge 1 attack, you auto dodge the rest of them. So 1 Wild Sense in MAX power means auto dodge for multi hitting attacks.
This Gogeta is not as broken as Budokai Tenkaichi 2. Dragon rush has no limit allowing you to beat your opponent across the entire stage and finish with Big Bang Kamehameha x100. If done correctly you can finish the fight with just one max power charge up.

Tenkaichi 4 would be one of the biggest games if they added the DBZ story mode maybe old db they could add gt DBZ movie bosses story mode like ultimate Tenkaichi but better add super story mode (if not we gonna have a problem) and they could add the DBS bosses (plz do tryna fight Jiren in a story mode game WITH BETTER GRAPHICS) and i guess DBS super hero characters and add Dragon ball super Broly using the galick Kamehameha while being super blue is cool and it would be awesome if they added team attacks like they did in raging blast 2 that would be one of the best dragon ball games
