Doesn't matter which movie you all are watching reacting to I give you five stars for the way you set it up and react and you actually enjoy what you're doing not trying to talk over what's going on , on the screen. Well you guys take care. See you on the next one by now
Fun fact guys , the actor who played the cop who used his badge # to play the lottery was in the 1st die hard movie , he played a cop that was right next to sergeant Al Powell
This movie never gets old. I like the first one but I think this one is my favorite. Willis and Jackson had great chemistry. I don’t know how they thought of putting “When Johnny Come Marching Home” as the theme but damn it works. The movie wouldn’t be the same without it. Great reaction.
I like atmosphere (night) in 1st and second better (all movies in trilogy are 10/10 btw but still) I'm kinda sad that 96% of 3rd Die Hard happens during day time. Edit - imagine 3rd one during nighttime with John and Zeus chemistry like we had in Last boy scout movie between Joe (Willis) and Jimmy (Wayans)
It's like the Indy trilogy, the first is classic, but the chemistry between ndy and his dad, and the chemistry between sam jackson and bruce willis, make it the most enjoyable for me.
@@hamzah5643 I could argue that putting more than 1 main good char in Die Hard 3 took bit too much from what was the essence of first 2 movies while overfocusing on willis-jackson dialogues. Of course as I've said before I like all 3 the same but I wonder sometimes how would third looked like if John again was mainly alone, dialogues were shorter/some maybe more serious and all this during nighttime.
The first R-rated movie I ever snuck into. Had to buy a ticket for something else and we missed the first ten minutes or so, but so worth it. The chemistry between Bruce Willis and Samuel Jackson in this film is legendary.
This movie takes place in the middle of the Summer. I think they knew that the first two movies happening at Christmas was as far as it could go. If something happened on Christmas a third time, it would have been too much coincidence to believe. This movie was made from an unused script called “Simon Says.” They just added John McClane to make it a Die Hard movie.
Yeah, and they *really* made a point of it in Die Hard 2 to have both John AND Holly say "Christmas!? AGIAN!? So yeah the hand would have been overplayed.
People whine about it but I love it too. Ironically, it has more in common with the original dna of the character than people give it credit for. I hope they view it as well.
They gave themselves away to McClane before the lottery question, although he might not have noticed: One of them said they take the "lift." It's only "elevator" in the US. Nobody says lift, and definitely not a blue-collar guy in a local police department.
In an alternate ending Simon got away with the gold on his own. John was scapegoated for the gold being supposedly at the bottom of the Long Island Sound (of course it’s not) and therefore is let go from the NYPD and no longer a cop. John tracks down Simon in a European country where Simon is cashing out. And while they sat face to face at a table John pulls out a rocket launcher and blasts Simon. That ending isn’t official cause it was felt it made John McClane look different. Made him to be ruthless with how he killed Simon. So they stuck with this ending.
Not enough reactors bother with Die Hard 3, so thank you, and you did a great job with it too. Hopefully you'll react to 4 and 5 too (neither set at Christmas). Keep up the awesome work. 👍
It's actually annoying how great this film is as an action film, a thriller, and a heist flick all put in one. Expertly directed and written and acted and EVERY fucking thing!
I know there are die hard video games but I've never played them. The way that he fights certain people in the movies before the top villain it's like fighting mini bosses in a video game
10:20 AM . . . Note the location of the "explosion that doesn't add up", and note the times, plural, of some big buildings that went down 6 years after this movie. And consider Dick Chaney was technical advisor on the film. Just think about all that for a while . . . .
GOOd, so far yiou are only the 2nd reactor watch this action fun filled sequel, which as most say is the best. Great deduction that there wasnt gonna be a bomb in a school and I will have fun seeing your reaction later. This film had terrific action scenes especially downtown and that "train " that flew off the tracks was a huge model
The thing that is CRAZY about this movie that most people do not realize, is that it came out in the 90s before the 9/11 attacks and involves stealing gold from underneath the Federal Reserve Bank. I real life, while the 9/11 drama was in progress, someone was evacuating gold from under the WTC plaza (just a cpl blocks from Fed Reserve) in a very similar way. One of the trucks got blocked in by falling debris and was abandoned. It was found later by workers excavating the area.
Fill the 3 gallon jug. Pour the 3 gallons into the 5 gallon jug. Refill the 3 gallon jug. Fill the 5 gallon jug by pouring 2 gallons from the 3 gallon jug. That leaves 1 gallon in the 3 gallon jug. Empty the 5 gallon jug. Pour the 1 gallon remaining in the 3 gallon jug into the now empty 5 gallon jug. Fill the 3 gallon jug. Pour it all into the 5 gallon jug. You now have exactly 4 gallons in the 5 gallon jug.
I thought long and hard about that 4 gallons in the 5 gallon jug and I think I've found the easiest way. The reason I say this is because I have a brain injury and wasting time and brain power on things like this doesn't really interest me anymore. Anyway, the easiest solution to the problem is this: put 3 gallons of water into the 5 gallon jug. Fill the 3 gallon jug up again and finish filling the 5 gallon jug (which has 3 gallons already) with 2 gallons leaving 1 gallon in the 3 gallon jug. Pour all 5 gallons out of the jug. Empty the 1 gallon from the 3 gallon jug so you have 1 gallon in the 5 gallon jug. Fill the 3 gallon jug and pour it into the 5 gallon jug that already has 1 gallon in it. 3 plus 1 is 4. There ya' go. Simple as I can get it.
I worked at the Federal reserve bank for 25 years and have been in the gold vault many times the gold vault manager told me when they were filming one if the crew took a tour that anyone can take he was drawing pictures of the inside cause for security reasons they were not allowed to film he was caught drawing and they took the drawing from him and let him kjo he's not allowed I also watched ryem FIL the bicycle seen and the seen with the bad guy talking and walking to the police car with the suitcase bomb and that train blow up wax right across the street we were allowed to watch the explosion but I wasn't able to cause I gaf too much work it was very exciting
This is the high point of the Die Hard series. After this they are not very good. Someone at the movie studio decided that the studio could make more money if their action movies were rated PG-13 (for teenagers) rather than rated R ("Restricted"), so the later 2 films are very watered down to being suitable for a 13-year old audience.
The fbi came and interviewed the director because this movie was way too realistic. The vault at the federal reserve is on a subway line and could have been accessed in that way.
That is scary! Not quite as scary as when people in the Navy (movie Crimson Tide) were asked what they would do if they got just a message fragment to launch nuclear weapons!
It still makes no sense that McClane was back in NYC after he'd made it clear in Die Hard 2 that he'd relocated to LA and become a cop there. But these movies are the kind where you have to turn your brain off anyway.
I mean, it's not that far-fetched, with he and Holly having broken up. He probably always felt more at home in New York. (Then again, if his kids still lived in California, yeah, he'd probably also want to stay close-by to them.)
Well he wanted him to die in Harlem would have and he didn't expect for him to be saved. so after that he just messed with him for the rest of the movie instead of killing him. He had many opportunities to kill him.
Y'all know that movie came out after the first attack of world trade center, right? When the bomb went off in the basement of that building ( the underground parking of the world trade center).
Thank you so much for your response, and you didn't take God's Name in vain! So many of these Y T curse the Creator of Heaven and Earth. I subed and liked! Praise The God of Heaven and Earth! 🙏😀👍🙂🙏🙏🙏👍🙂
All the best to Bruce Willis healthwise. Apparently, the rumors that his family and his legal team pushed him to continue to make movies while suffering from aphasia to get a paycheck were unjustified, thank goodness.
Great movie. You know there is a alternative ending where John plays Russian Roulette with Simon and a Bazoka. The other sequels sucks don't waste time with them. The Die Hard Franchise ends here in a perfect trilogy. Die hard like movies (Which are much better the horrible Die Hard 4 and the even beyond horrible Die Hard 5) are Passenger 57 , Sudden Death, Air Force One and Executive Decision.
Never understood why they didn't just tell the guys who walked up to McLean and Zeus in Harlem when he was wearing the sign the details of why he was wearing the sign and that he is a cop etc etc
Like they would have cared or listened to them lol. They were too pissed off about that sign, I highly doubt that they would believe them. There's no explaining something like that to angry black people in the hood!
Die Hard 1 and 3 are the best movies out of the 5.
This was by far my favorite Die Hard movie. All star cast and a brilliant script made this the best of the series.
I concur!
I agree!
This was the Era of good movies. When the sequel and even the trilogy was good as the original. I miss movies from the 80's and 90's
The trilogy? 1 and 3 are fantastic, 2 is good but not quite on the same level.
I like 3 more then others

They play this song in the movie ANTZ too.... The Antz go marching one by one... hurraauh.... hurrauhh

I bet they got the idea from Dr. Strangelove.

I never get tired of this series, lots of action and comedy. You guys are a blast to watch as you react.
This movie takes place in the middle of the Summer. I think they knew that the first two movies happening at Christmas was as far as it could go. The German said “a lift” instead of saying “an elevator”. Americans say elevator.
McTiernan is a great director! 😎
Never noticed it before but the precinct John works at has a detective Benson. Is this secretly a Law & Order: SVU tie-in?
I love when the henchman are worried about kids finding the bomb. Sets up the fake bomb reveal.
The next one is around Forth Of July Independence Day. Really good. ✌️
I watched this so many times but first time understanding the ending plot lol. Thank you guys.
The next one is pretty good too. It is a Fourth of July one. "Live Free or Die Hard". Good reaction, good anticipation. Thanks.
And there was also the “raining dogs & cats” line, the inversion of the more common “cats & dogs” line.

This was never called a Christmas movie! It takes place in the summertime. Except for #5, this is a really fun franchise.

I love this movie, it is my second favorite of all the die hard movies, after the original.

I can't help everytime I see this movie and I hear Jeremy irons I keep picturing SCAR from the lion king since he did play both roles
Yes, Joy, it is a sequel to the previous ONE, but not the PREVIOUS one 😏
The youngest boy who portrayed Samuel L. Jackson's nephew is Aldis Hodge.
Same director as part 1: John McTiernan 😊
Always great reactions 😎😀🖐
How could you guys forget the name Hans Gruber? He's the 2nd greatest villain in cinematic history.
(#1 is obvious)
Have one recommendation in movie for you: Night of the Living Dead (1990), this movie is excellent.
The 4th movie was IMO the best one. Don't bother with the 5th and final one.
Super!..continuați cu filme din 80-90

Die hard with vengeance (1995) great movie
It still makes no sense that McClane was back in NYC after he'd made it clear in Die Hard 2 that he'd relocated to LA and become a cop there. But these movies are the kind where you have to turn your brain off anyway.

PT4 is Fantastic also... "Live Free or die hard"
Y'all know that movie came out after the first attack of world trade center, right? When the bomb went off in the basement of that building ( the underground parking of the world trade center).
Yes. 1993. The first time the Work Trade Center was attacked however that had failed
U slipped guys 😂
Way better than Die Hard 2: Die Harder in my opinion.
The next one takes place on the 4th of July.
My personal favorite. Such a great duo
You guys should watch all the James Bond films
Dallas Buyers Club
"The guy following em is kaput!" 😆
"What is this? Mission Impossible?!?" Not exactly. "DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE" was 5 years before "MISSION IMPOSSIBLE II" and the 180° degree turn.
So who was the better actor, Jeremy Irons or Alan Rickman?Vote here.
Rickman
Snape wins. Sorry Scar.
@@daverhoden445I don’t understand?
@@TallyDrakeI really miss him!
@@solvingpolitics3172 Alan Rickman played Snape in the Harry Potter movies. Jeremy Irons was the voice of Scar in The Lion King animated movie.
Great movie

Hi guys great movie love u both ❤💕
Sucks we will never see Zeus and Mclean team up again in one more Die Hard movie
Hello John McClane. I wanna play a game...
Die hard, any of them, is not not not a Christmas movie.
it was introduced on Christmas, cuz he was related to the Christmas time.. but yea, didn't fit with the Christmas vibe
Watch Die Hard 4 Unrated Version.
That is the only version of Live Free Or Die Hard (aka Die Hard 4) that I watch (and is the most like a Die Hard film (in my opinion)...
Great reaction my favorite die hard 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯🔥
This should of been 2
What's happened to your Breaking Bad, I was enjoying that ?

Action adventure all the way!!!!
Greetings from Finland!!! Are going to watch more terminator movies? "I'll be back" 😎
