- In this episode of Talking About Records I discuss my ENTIRE PEARL JAM COLLECTION. I've been a huge PJ fan since they began, and have collected a ton of their albums and singles over the years. Since their new album, Gigaton, was just released I figured there's no better time to talk about one of my absolute favorite bands in the world.
✶ Talking About Records is presented by NTX Vinyl, a boutique vinyl record shop in Highland Village, Texas (2240 Justin Rd, 75077 - located inside Painted Tree Marketplace). Open 10am-8pm, 7 days a week ✶

I love how you collect EVERYTHING by your favorite artist. People think I'm crazy over my Robert Plant collection, looks like we are in the same boat!😂
Same boat for sure!
I finally picked up my copy of the VS./Vitalogy super deluxe set yesterday. Been the biggest white whale for me for 10 years now so a very big moment. Couldn’t buy it from 10 Club if you lived outside the US back then and no one managed to import it here in Norway. Won a little sum on the lottery couple of weeks ago and tried my luck on Discogs. Very happy with the result, just posted my unboxing now. Love this video, inspires my continued collecting.
Love that set! I remember buying the Ten boxset when it came out. But for some reason stalled and didn’t buy Vs/Vitalogy. Luckily my wife was smarter than me and grabbed it for me unknowingly as a gift.
@@NTXVinyl smart and kind wife!
Are you sorry they didn’t continue the box sets or do you think its fine as is, a testament to Pearl Jam before they «retreated» away from the gargantuan early days?
I would have loved to see a close insight into the time before and during No Code.
What an amazing collection!!
Thanks so much!
Nice collection!
Greatest hits , Rearview mirror ? Amazing collection though and thank you for sharing !!!!
I've added that one in the last year! Got the original pressing which is still sealed, and the more recent bootleg version on silver vinyl. 🙌🏻
Cool collection. I can tell you MosDef that Chicago Soldier Field show was broadcast. I was at the gig with my best friend. I've been to a lot of gigs and that show is always in my top 5 of all time. Nice work man!
The Only Way To Fly love that show! Certainly one of their most iconic ever.
Awesome collection
Thank you so much 😀
impresionante!
Love seeing your videos. I’m curious on your thoughts on bootleg / unofficial vinyl releases? Not just Pearl Jam, but any artist in general.
Thanks man! Huge PJ fan as you can tell.
The unofficial LPs can be hit or miss. I collect plenty of them, and sell them too because people always ask for them. Try to check quality before I deal with them but hard to listen to them all.
Just announced today pearl jam is repressing their greatest hits on vinyl
Did see that! Really bummed it’s a Walmart exclusive, but better than nothing. I’ve since added an original press of Rearviewmirror to my collection, but will of course pick up the colored reissue as well.
Amazing.
Thanks so much for watching!
@@NTXVinyl maybe you don't know that FreeAssRecords guy who commented above is Dave Abbruzesse, the former pearl jam drummer...
@@selaimutiara ah right on! Follow Dave A. over on Facebook but had no idea that was his yt profile. Awesome!
Just found an original US pressing of ten online a couple minutes ago and bought it. I think it took me 4 or 5 years to find my favorite album of all time.
Sweet! Such a gem
@@NTXVinyl Still waiting for the day to see them play live , I guess they don't like texas lol
I would love to have Lost Dogs and Live on Two Legs. Oh and Live at Benaroyal
I’m with you on Benaroya Hall. Glad to have an unofficial/bootleg version but sure would love an original
Great collection!
