Did it imbalance your washing machine? My rug is pretty much the same size and I'm afraid I'll break my machine since it makes a crazy noise while spinning after the last time I washed it. 😬
The wet dog smell can be eliminated with a few enzyme sprays, leaving baking soda on the rug overnight, and then dry vacuum. Also if she was just going to machine wash it she should have done that from the beginning instead of wasting water in the bathtub.
Use a urine removing spray for cats like miracle or resolve for urine. Than if it still is there soak in vinegar for a few hours rinse, than use oxiclean soak over night. Wash as normal. I was able to get urine stains out of some very hard to clean items using that trick. I hope it helps you :)

I’m glad I watched this! I’ve put my rug in the washer a couple times and it still would look matted. Currently soaking it in the tub!
First! omg I love your videos!
Thank you! 😊
I just throw mine out and buy new one but I realize I’m wasting money like that so now I’m here looking up how to clean up my bathroom rug lol

Excellent tutorial. I'll be doing this to clean my rug and some pillow cases my former roommate... didn't leave super clean, we'll kindly say.
defo will be trying this!
Let me know how it goes! 🥰
Very good advice. Thank you so much.
I never tried washing a bathroom rug/mat at the laundry, but would it come out just as good if it's being washed at home.
Hot water for the tub soak?
What if you don't have a vaccum? How do you go about it?? Please guide.
Grab a scrub. Dry Scrub the rug to loosen the dirt. Grab the rug by 2 corners. Shake it vigorously.
Or just get a bloody vacuum
Or a bathtub😢
if you dont have a vacuum, even the little 3-in-1 stick vacuums $20 at walmart, then go out and buy one.
