Super cheese for the mimic boss is when u fight him wear no armor he has almost no health
xD I thought about using stupid tools for that :D
Also remove your weapons. I took absolutely no damage. Requipped everything and killed it within a minute.

Thanks guys I'm just heading into radahn fight and then going for mimic tear
while the mimic tear boss itself isn't difficult should you be having trouble with it, just unequip all your gear(don't worry about talismans) before entering the fog gate. it'll spawn naked, and then you just need to reequip your stuff or you can have a naked fist fight with yourself
i had 1170 hp and fighting it naked tok 2 hours but its worth it
Would NOT recommend fist fighting. The A.I. is weirdly good... Simply unequip your weapons b4 going in and reequip after entering. Leaving the gear on is fine.

I found equipping a ranged weapon, entering the arena, then equipping a melee weapon once the mimic has formed worked a treat. It just tries to use ranged attacks. I used a crossbow.

@@aydenlumbre4550 make sure you get Rotten Breath Incarntation, it will make the fight so much easier, second phase is harder since you have to dodge his homing meteors. If you have quick step/bloodhound step it will be a piece of cake to dodge his meteor. I just beat him today in 5 tries GL fellow Tarnished!
@@aydenlumbre4550 Get Rotten Breath dragon incantation. There's a rune video where you kill an elder dragon super easy and that will give you a heart then make sure you have I think 15 INT and 12 ARC so you can use Rotten Breath. Wait for a chance to use it when Radahn has his back to you. 2 stacks and you'll watch his health drop. Second phase just repeat and keep summoning the NPCs. Mind the giant purple orbs he summons and of course when he goes full meteor mode. Best thing I did second phase was get 1 stack on him and run around the edges of the map until the purple orbs are used then run up and get the last stack. Then just avoid him until his health drops to zero.
@@aydenlumbre4550 i beat him at lvl 55 but at the cost of my sanity. Took me 2 hours lmao. I used the Moonveil and just stayed behind him as much as possible.
In the area you killed the last 2 gargoyles there is a broken sarcofagus towards the end of the "arena"... go interact with it and it will teleport you on the undergrounds of the elden tree.

I couldn't have made it to the end without Mimic's Tear, easily the best game design decision Fromsoft ever made. Sure, it's going to trigger some gidguders because it's basically the easy mode (some end game bosses are still really hard because of their endless AOE spam) but for a regular fan of the series it's a bliss.
So what.. Any tool in that game is useful if you know how to use it.. It is part of the game.. 😀
@Fernando R nope the point of the game is to have fun, whether you like it easy or hard it shouldn't matter as long as you're enjoying yourself.
Don't listen to gidguders. You earned that Mimic Tear and you have every right to use it.
If you think Mimic Tear is too Overpowered... don't use it.

A nice cheese strat for radahn is go get the rotten breath incantation and use it against him at most you'll just need to hit him twice per phase but I was able to do one good hit per phase. Also utilize the summons takes aggro away from you and you can pelt him with arrows or spells if you want
thank you you saved me I was fighting against him for more tahn 2 hours after I read this he was down after third try

I had already cleared most of Nokron (other than missing this branch where the summon was located) but was unable to beat the gargoyle duo. I'm going to upgrade this summon and use it to murder those gargoyles. I have a Faith build and will be equipping some nasty incantations for the mimic summon to use on them.
Blackflame is insane
you can summons D's brother if you have the armor and if that fails there's an easy way to cheese the gargoyles - find out by accident - if you get them to turn their backs the ledge (to the right of the doorway as you enter), they will hop backwards on one of their attacks and just fall to their death.I died to them a bunch, then I geared up, got the D quest line done, beefed up my summons and was ready to go - got in there and the first guy fell off the ledge at the very beginning. lol.

This summon is amazing, was stuck on rykard, put this on.. first try
i had to respec my stats and upgraded the spear to beat rykard.
if I could've known that this was the quickest way.
If any of you are struggling with killing yourself, just take off all your gear, wait until the boss starts to transform, and then immediately equip it again. Now you'll be fighting yourself, but it doesn't have any gear lol

I beat the game and black knight assassin which cause bleed and reduce the hp on bosses was amazing to me!!! So aggressive and helpful!!! I’ve never used mimic tear even when I’ve founded not late and it was because I didn’t realized that it will cast a copy of you and I thought it was just a useless Nelly thing as the pic of it shows!!! 😅

The mimic was super easy to cheese. I have incantations for support skills only and the mimic seems very likely to use any spells/incantations, so the mimic kept spamming cure poison and rarely did running attack that were easy to dodge. I had the Golden Halberd and just kept doing jump attacks.

Dont you have to progress the story to a certain point to activate the Radahn festival to fight him? I thought it was either gather the 2 half a of the lift medallion and shortcut to Atlas or progress Ranni's quest to the point where you head to Radahn.
Sorry if I spelled any of that wrong, I haven't actually made it to them myself yet. Just entering Raya Lucaria Academy at the moment.
Thank God by the time I was actually down to fight Radahn I was level 72. Probably the easiest boss I've ever fought. The people I summoned during the fight took probably 1/3 of his health, and I was doing probably 500 damage with light swings on my horse. First try that beat them thank God but it was weird because I had to crucible knight there to fight, but after I beat the Respec lady at the academy, when I came back the festival started so I wasn't able to beat The crucible knight
My guy just found the reason you don't get dual fights is if you kill the magma wyrm up north and talk to the lady at the grace after the elevator just figured it out to help my lady like 5 mins ago hope this helps

Can confirm, still works as of 2/22/23. Just took me way too long to get it right lol
Fight Radahn without the NPCs and he is a lot easier. Stay close to him and roll under his attacks if you're a melee fighter. I took him close to the mountains so he didn't have as much space to ride around. You can also try getting on the tree branch sticking out of the mountain which will make him fall to his death. I couldn't get on to the branch so I just had to fight him 😂

If you remove all equipment before entering the boss fight he will mimic that than u quickly put it all back on once battle starts , easy win

You actually DON'T need to beat Radahn. I can't remember where I found it, but I got teleported to the bridge just before the mimic tear. I know because I was trying to beat the two gargoyle bosses to get to a farm area so I could farm some to beat Radahn, but I can't remember for the life of me where the port was. I'm scouring places I've already explored trying to find it for my friends. In fact, I only found this video trying to find the location of the portal I used.
I'd give more info, but I had no idea that the portal had gone unnoticed by others, and I found it probably 50 hours of ingame time ago.
EDIT: It's not the 4 Belfries location. You can get to the mimic tear before beating Radahn, which you can't do using the 4 Belfries port.

@@imafatguy4936 It may have been. Was relatively early in my playthrough, and I'm wracking my brain trying to remember. I found a single topic on Reddit with someone talking about the same teleport as myself, but they can't remember where it is either. It looks like it's most likely in the Siofra River though. I've been combing the area with Torrent trying to find it again. Has me wondering if it's a one-time teleport or something, tbh. I know it was one-way for sure.

Reminds me of Virgil DT in Dmc 5 where instead of becoming a devil he summons a devil version of himself
If your having trouble with Radahn kill a dragon I recommend the white dragon next to fort faroth won’t the uchigatana go to the cathedral of dragon communion grab rotten breath then at the radahn fight summon half of the summons and while he’s distracted with them use rotten breath he really close and hold down L1 till your fp runs out after that just wait at half health dodge him coming down from the sky then summon the other half while he’s distracted again use it while he’s distracted use it run away and watch him die slowly

Mimic very smart.Stopped at a door by power of his mind.And OP goes to battle alone.
I personally prefer using the greatshield Soldiers summon when fighting mimic tear. And it works.

If u r struggling with radahn I suggest to get the rot dragon breath and it makes the fight way easier

Rotbone Arrows work well too with Arrow's Sting, Lance and Arrow's Reach Talismans. Did it with a simple longbow +7. it's longer but easier because you can keep distance in horseback.
