- So it’s been 111 days since I first got my hands on Samsung’s Galaxy A11 - an affordable smartphone which I can definitely see as the next phone for you or for someone you know. @@Halocraft021 theres a 4G variant with 990 but only in some countries where 4G isn't a thing yet, though in my country, it is all 5G
Damn, s20 fe in my country has the exynos version. So i decided to buy the A71 instead 😭

Ive had a flip phone for four years. before I had an iPhone 5. im a early teen but its annoying to have a flip phone since im "different" in high school. a lot of people have iPhones is what im saying. I was devastated that I was gonna have to get an android (bc I thought it was "bad" to have something different from everyone else. stupid me ) to replace my flip phone. BUT THENNNN I found your channel and found that cheap doesnt always have to be terrible. anyway. im hopefully getting this exact phone this week to replace my sad out dated lol flip phone. Thank you for helping me overcome my insecurity of having an android and finding what is best for me((:

Get the Realme 6 or Redmi note 9s there way better valued than Samsung budget phones. They'll last you 2-4 years if you take care of it. The samsung A series phones become slow very fast over time

@aferran people have different opinions on it,but considering the facts that the a21 is 200$ is insane considering how slow it is,but I love Samsungs UI way better than Realme and Redmi's but beside that I dont see many reasons to get A series budget phones

@@granniemon they dont have an ip rating but they are water resistant to a sertain degree splashes and even just being in water for a few minutes cant stop them from working mine ends up wet all the time and i dont have to worry

I have the galaxy a11 and call of duty mobile work's great also I noticed when you used the app as a prop with your review the game was on low quality. The A11, you can play COD with medium quality works great with everything overall. ( Not trying to bash you dude) just my experience, had it for 6 months already.

I am sure that, at the price-point where the A11 sits, water-resistance and a premium build would be the last aspects I would look at. This is either going to be a phone you buy for your grandparents to use or as a backup phone to make calls and send SMS messages.
I've been considering to buy the A11 as a backup phone for work. This review helped me so much in choosing. I just might buy this phone now. 🤣

Thanks for this video. I stumbled upon your video when I searched Galaxy A11. Why? Because I got one for FREE when I switched carriers at my local Sam’s Club store. My apple XR is still in excellent working condition but having this Galaxy A11 now as a backup is a great feeling.

When watching videos on youtube, can it be play with 1080p?
Just got mine a couple of days ago and it seems to work just fine. The downside on this phone is that you can't transfer most of the apps into your SD card like I use to on my Samsung Galaxy A10e. Other then that, I rate this phone at 4.5 out of 5!
Love the battery life and fingerprint feature too!

Well, if it can’t transfer my apps in to the sd card.. i don’t really mind, i’d rather transfer the photos instead, cuz i won’t be downloading so much apps since i have my ipad mini and it has games on it..

I just bought this phone for $51 off of Facebook marketplace. It is basically just a backup phone to put RUclips, Netflix, in other apps I use around the house phone For other things and to give me another toy to play with period from what I'm saying on the review and after I played with it a while it looks like it would be the perfect phone for someone without much money but still who wants reliable performance performance. This phone is perfect for what it is, very utilitarian, if only had 4gb of ram it would kill the market, but I guess that's samsung's way to make you buy something more expensive, I got it keeping my expectations under control and It makes me wonder why do we need flagships? Sure a lot people need them, but I just can't kill the battery by using it the whole day and that's worth a lot to me.
It cost me $160 unlocked and it's going cheaper now.

I just ordered this phone. I'm not a tech snob. I usually get the cheapest phones but I started playing Raid Shadow Legends and I've spent probably a thousand on the game. My phone screen is small and cracked so I figured I would get a new phone and picked this A11. I also ordered a case for it.

@@Lucid_Lizard369 I got the next phone above the A11. My phone company ran out of the A11 and sent me the next phone up at no extra charge so I couldn't tell you how good it is. I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the phone and does everything it's supposed to do. Samsung makes great phones.

Nah Samsung and LG budget phones are trash compared to the Realme 6 and Redmi note 9s are way better options

I have gotten this phone and I really have had no problems with the camera oh my I haven't had quality this good in a while I did get a case for it have dropped it a few times and tg nothing happened as far as streaming I really haven't had an issue with it as a upgrade from what I had I love it ty galaxy
Only drawback of this device is the processor. Snapdragon 450 is so outdated. Anyways great video shane.

I agree the snapdragon is slow and lags pretty bad when going between apps and streaming. Sometimes it takes 5 minutes to restart and completely load back.

One of the only budget phone on the a series with a punch hole. How great is that, rather than Vshape or Ushape notch.
m21 also seems good for low budget
My wife gave me one of these, since she got it for free. I had been using my Galaxy S8 for a few years now.
And in my opinion, this phone is a huge downgrade. Half my game library is blocked from downloads on Play, And it refuses to install my Oculus Gear apk. Sure I know support ended for it, but I was just playing Nintendo Virtual Boy through RetroArch on it last week.
I am downloading the Oculus SDK to my desktop now, I will see if I can install it another way. Thanks for your review, but I think I will keep my more powerful S8.

Can you also review pixel 4a and compare pixel 4a with a71? Tell us if Pixel 4a is good performance wise and if you would choose pixel 4a over a71.
I bought this phone for research and studies. Handles related tasks I do on a computer very good. It's basically replaced my pc for 95% of the tasks. Higher end phone are for gamers n persons who do a lot of high tech photo editing.

After 10 months use with my A11, I noticed the charging never reaches 100%, only below 60% even after an all night charge. Why?

Hell no Samsung budget phones don't last more than 2 years if you want a budget phone that will that's you a long time. Get the Realme 6 or Redmi note 9s they have better value than Samsung budget phones
And there only around 200$
It would last a 4 years, I think. I don't expect it to start malfunctioning, but by that time it will be clearly slow and feel somewhat obsolete. Maybe if you are stretching it, you may be able to get more life out of it, but I would expect 3-4 years. 2GB/32GB version would last less, so I would say 2-3 years.
