the dedication put into replacing the front lip that many times has me amazed, i wont even jump on getting my first front lip and now im afraid to haha. i have an 03 bugeye thats automatic (ik) but i wanna manual swap it. 160k miles and the original trans and engine still runs strong so im gonna ride that out. i had the same problem with my steering rack after smashing it on a ridiculous temporary speed bump into the parking lot my school had for 2 days until my friends mustang dragged it away with the rear bumper of his car. keep up the great work man i wanna keep building my bugeye because of you now...
@@dividingdan i had some money saved up from working a lot during quarantine with nothing to spend it on so recently i decided to sell my bugeye and get something nicer to daily and build. I'll always love that car, definitely gonna get another subie in the future as a project car but it would've been too expensive to build my bugeye.

best transformation i have seen, most people would have sold or scrapped the car after the clutch, diff, transmission and engine going and definitely after the fire but you spent a ridiculous amount of work and money on this wrx because of what you already achieved

Amazing hard work. Nice to see the evolution of the car. I went with lowering springs on my 04 and like the look of the lip, but also ripped mine off in the snow IIRC. I haven't gotten around to replacing it but also want to find a better solution to not have to keep ripping it off. Airbags might be a good solution for your sake but I know it's not that cheap and it seems you're young and on a budget so I get that. Impressed by the dedication and the hard work. Keep going and look for how you can make it better and avoid the same pit falls. Those are ways for life in general.

Clean build! In my preferences i liked it better before the carbon spoiler and carbon trunk, looks simpler that way but you made it look clean. Sucks that Subies always got to something to work on but they keep you busy. Great slammed Wrx , I Love any bugeyes!

While I enjoyed watching your journey with your WRX, I've lost count of how many times I've caught myself saying "the front end is too low," or "raise the front end!" The amount of money you've burned could have easily paid for someone, at the very least, to review what you were planning an point out where the points of failure were before you bolted on anything. We could chalk it up to a learning experience except you kept making the same mistakes. I'm glad you didn't get into an accident, as any one of those broken lips could have damaged the brakes or steering or both. I poked my head outside to check on my 03 WRX (bought it new) after seeing yours on fire. (Smack whoever was filming instead of helping put the fire out BTW.) If you intend to drive your car and not just trailer it to shows, you have to allow for road conditions and what they'll do to your car. If you're putting lips and skirts on the car, you have to reset everything to compensate. You just kept making it worse by lowering it and leaving it that low when driving. At this point, I hope your next step is air ride so you can keep all that work intact when you're driving. Then you can slam it when it's time show off, but raise it to where you're not putting yourself or your friends at risk by showering their path with shattered parts from your car. Stay safe, and get that suspension sorted!
