Some places have restrictions on mounting cameras to the outside of the car so even though he overlooked it, it might not be possible. Unless you watch through the windscreen and get people to film from the pits etc 😄
I could’ve mounted one facing forwards from the inside of the windscreen, but hoped the one mounted on the passenger window would show it (...it didn’t)

For tyres I’d be checking out the eagle F1 supersports - basically a Goodyear equivalent of the Michelin PS4S (tyre reviews reckons maybe fractionally better) but actually made in the size you need for the 140 unlike the michelins
I have actually been around the goodwood track myself. Such a good one. Lots of long sweeping bends and then sharp corners. A great track with lots of heritage. P.S Bruce McLaren died at the Goodwood Circuit.
I might have missed it in your other videos Luke but what spec are the wheels - size/Width/offset/spacers? etc. Are they genuine 359's? Car is looking very tidy and sounding lovely 👌
Great video, would you mind posting how much your track day cost you, did you get track insurance and if you needed to replace brakes etc. I have the 440i and I'd love to take it to Goodwood but it's my daily drive so a bit nervous about wearing out brakes and tyres!
Totally depends how you drive it and the conditions. Some tracks are far worse than others for wear and some tyres are totally unsuited to track work. A friend ruined a set of uniroyal rainsport 4s in half a day whereas another friend with the same car has had 5 full trackdays out of Yoko AD08Rs. The same goes for brakes, you will quickly ruin standard equipment and find that your car needs a lot of mods to be decent on track. Also i regards to the weather, you wear tyres and brakes far less on a wet day than a roasting hot day. So many variables.
Sounded great on track, would have been nice to see / hear some shots from trackside. Car looks so much better without the black (Halfords) stripes!! Not sure about the hair net though, best buy a helmet for next time!!😂
Like others, I also appreciate the effort you made in doing this video, but I'm not that interested in staring at you for 15 mins. You mentioned the car was under-steering a little, which is a result of fitting the diff. To counter that, you need to increase the width of the track at the front, and add some camber. But, that aside, I do enjoy your video's and the fact you really love your car comes across in every one.

I would usually be down Goodwood now building the Jaguar Land rover stand ready for the festival of speed. Not this year im afraid. Ps leave your engine running after you've been dogging it at any time. That boiling hot oil is sat in the turbo smouldering away. Much better to leave tje engine running for couple mins after stopping

@@hampshirephoto Yeah I love the M140i but definitely notice it struggles to put power down safely without an LSD. I get the inside wheel spin when turning from standstill on an incline onto a road at a 90 degree angle. Really have to feather the throttle, especially in the wet! But I've also heard the MPSS tyres are hopeless in the wet or when the tyres cold. From my research the MPS4 are a massive improvement in those scenarios. Did you experience similar before the LSD? I saw you were thinking about upgrading your tyres. Tyrereviews does a great comparison on RUclips between the MPS4S and MPS4. Basically, the TLDR is if you track your car like you do now you might benefit from the MPS4S if you can get them in 18inch. But they aren't as good for daily driving as they take longer to warm up and perform worse in non-track environments. Personally I'll be going the MPS4 next, but don't think I can justify $6K AUD on an LSD 😞

I echo that, windscreen cams don’t work so well IMO, headrest mounts are good so you can see the wheel inputs too. Awesome vid nonetheless 👍

Have you considered turning off the fake engine sound? It takes 5 minutes with Bimmercode. I did that with my M2 and it's much better.

With the LSD, the car is so much better to drive. As for the fuel gauge, yes it drained very very quickly 😂😂
