- When I brought it home the sewing machine ran. All the pieces and parts moved and it sewed a straight line without a hitch. That doesn’t mean it didn’t have a few problems.
After a few repairs and a lot of cleaning it’s now a much happier little machine.

We’ve just got a 1916/17 machine that was converted to electric (has old Bakelite pedal) the belt seems loose this has helped us so much thank you 🙏
Between my husband and I, we have 3 model 66 machines. My 1915 machine is a treadle, so if you haven't already done a video on how to put a belt on one of them, that sure would be handy.
The other 2 machines (a 1948 and a 1950) both need new belts, and I'll definitely be using this video as a reference guide when I change belts on my 1950 model 66 tomorrow. 🙂
To just change the belt loosen the. knurled handlle in the center of the hand wheel and remove the hand wheel. 😁😎
Thanks for the information.
Any time! 😁😎
great video when i put the belt on mine i took the handwheel off and didnt have to take the bobbin winder off
Is, are these instructions apply to a Singer 15-91 please

I’m not sure what year mine is…. I need a new belt. What size? Mine looks like your machine, except it is in a table.
Hello, i bought recently a 66 sewing machine, what size the belt use it? The motor run but the neddle doesnt move. HELP please!
The one I used is called a Universal Belt. It stretches to fit. I bought it at a local sewing center. Amazon has them. Thank you.
Excellent for running up a workshop apron
Mitch Peacock - WOmadeOD The more I research the potential of this machine the more amazed I become. Since it is so rugged it can sew leather, ballistic nylon strapping and a host of other things. I 'm going to have fun with this.
Old Sneelock's Workshop That's my Uncle! He can fix just about anything! As for parts, I use the containers you get at the grocery store that you grind your own almond/cashew/peanut butter in because they have snap-on lids and if the parts fall off the table, the lid will usually not pop off. Clear nut containers work well for storing things like bolts and so on. I also got a magnet like your grabber. Handiest thing in the world as long as it's ferros metal

But I never see if the belt work or not 🤔
It works Pablo. it works.
Is the new belt sort of a v belt or is it round
Tom Hayr It is round like an O Ring.
Old Sneelock's Workshop hey thank you. Does it seem to work good
Yes it works great. I bought it at the local sewing center in Kalamazoo, on Westnedge.
It is difficult to hear you over the music. Next time consider omitting it. Thank you for the info.
Thanks for the suggestion. Since reading it I have reduced the music volume. 😁😎
