So after writing my last single “Thank You” I was struggling a lot. I was extremely depressed and trying to learn how to cope with the break up I was going through but nothing helped. I was out partying a lot and even though I seemed happy to everyone else, I was dying on the inside. I missed her. I was so stressed with trying to make new music and getting ready to go on the Asia/Australia tour, a tour that I had agreed and signed onto while her and I were still together. Touring can be physically/mentally exhausting and she was always the one and only person who knew how to keep me from falling apart. The tour eventually came and I was struggling the entire time. Every flight, every hotel, every show, she was all I could think about. I felt alone. Then, on the night of the Brisbane concert in Australia, I received a phone call from an unknown number. It was her. I couldn’t believe it. Before I could even say a word, she began screaming and cursing me out and started criticizing me for being seen in public with another female. I couldn’t understand as to why though, when she was the one who left me for someone else? The only reason I even started going out again and meeting new people was because she left me. If it would have been up to me, we’d still be together now. She then started telling me how happy she was with the guy she left me for, and how she had completely moved on and forgot about me, but if that was the case, then why would she call me to tell me that? I could see right through all of her manipulation and games. The problem is, the heart wants what it wants. You can want to move on, you can want to forget, and you can want to love someone else but it doesn’t mean that you will. Some people will always believe that the grass is greener on the other side, and by the time they realize that it isn’t, someone else has already taken over and is now watering the side that was once theirs.
Going through pain and disappointment in life only makes us stronger when we come through the other side, I myself struggle with depression for years stay strong.
These guys deserve so much spotlight, the talent is incredible. I've followed the whole story of his relationship and it's incredibly what he creates despite all the pain. I look forward to the day when he heals from such a toxic person
