My ex wife had a miscarriage and I emotionally abandoned her because I was grieving. Being completely selfish pushing her away when she needed me the most. When she left me, I was angry and bitter. Said horrible thing. After I stopped trying to blame everyone else and looked at what I did I stopped being angry… at her. This was in 2013 and I still have guilt and shame every single day. Went awhile self medicating so I couldn’t feel anything and wouldn’t think about it. Every time I tried to stop all the thoughts and emotions that came with them rushed back in. I still struggle every day and I don’t think I will ever be able to forgive myself. Hate me by blue October makes me cry every time I hear it. This song is now the other one.

I personally feel you may indeed just so happen to be an empath!!!
