I'd like to keep the phone number public but I use my personal phone as my business phone. The problem is when I call someone, the caller ID shows up as my Google Profile page business name, not my personal name. I've had people not answer because they think it's SPAM. Any ideas?
Hmmmmm unfortunately that’s not an issue I’ve run into so I don’t have a clue on how to handle it. This could be why people get a Google number for their business that redirects to their personal number? I’m not sure though. Sorry I can’t be of more help!

How do I remove my number from address if I don't remember the email id to add the address? My mobile number was added by a colleague as office contact and then he left the company. Now I too have left the company but my mobile still shows up as company contact. Is there any way to remove it by asking for an OTP on my mobile number?

I just create google business and get verified.. will advise straight away hide it or wait couple of day

I have created a google profile for my customers but it has the wrong address details. Google asks to make a video to ensure the authenticity of its address, but this is not possible right now.
Can I delete his account and do everything again?

Hi! TBH, I don’t have a damn clue about that. I’ve never tested it or been in that type of situation. My initial thought is “yeah why not?” But then who knows if Google has some stipulation or something where you have to wait X days before creating a new one. Idk if that’s true. But that’s just where my head goes. Sorry I can’t be of more help!

Sometimes it can take a few hours for the changes to appear. If it still doesn’t after that, I don’t have a clue lol
I signed up my business. Now when people call my number the business shows up for them, how can I change it back?
Maybe try adding a different number to your profile. I think you can get like a Google number or Google voice number or something. That’s what I’d explore!

Outside of this tutorial & following these steps, I don’t have a clue. This is the only solution I know of.

Yes, you can. You can set it up as “delivers goods/services TO clients” or something like that. I don’t remember the exact setting but you can change it. It’s how mine is set up, no phone number, no address.

Yeah I totally get that lol I just didn’t want to screw it up and then my number is back on Google. So I was hoping the save button would be obvious on your end lol
Can you add an area to scroll to the information quicker. Because a 5 minute video where you took 4 minutes to get to the info is insanely excessive.

Hmmm, I’m not sure. I’d double check in an incognito tab. And if it’s not there I’d check to see if your phone number is listed somewhere else online like a contact page, social media, or business directory.
@@MariahMagazine I have a business number from Grasshopper. I set up Nice voicemails and extensions. Really proud of how things came out. That Grasshopper plan comes with a line and texting from that line. I made a Google My Business account using my business number and it needed to send me a code to verify the number. Grasshopper customer service said it takes weeks for the texting to activate which I was unaware of. So I used my personal number to create my Google My Business number. I tried to change it to my business number once I started Google Business account, but the change wasn't approved. So I went to the options in settings to HIDE my phone number instead; allowing clients to only Chat with me instead. I was STILL getting calls on my personal phone even with it saying not visible to customers. So I put my page as Temporarily Closed until they can fix this matter for me. 💔

It's good information but my issue is exactly the opposite. I'm trying to show my nu.ber under my google business profile and it keeps turning to the check mark and hiding my number, no matter what I do. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Hmmmm I don’t have a clue, honestly. I’ve never had to work through that issue.
