I’ve changed so much this year following your advice Wanhee. It might sound cliche but coming across your channel has been life changing. I’ve fixed my diet and for the first time stayed consistent with the gym and feel the best I’ve ever have. I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your advice works!

Fully agree with the point about fasting. Successfully performing a 24 hour fast is the whole reason I could enter a caloric deficit; it teaches you to fall out of love with food, and teaches you that you have innate discipline.

Number 7 got you the like button pushed. All of these are great advice. Much better than other fitness channels. Failure will always occur unless it's a life change and not a temporary Diet/Gym membership/body recomp...etc. You can't make permanent bodily changes if your environment stays the same.

100%. I stopped "dieting" six weeks ago and just changed my diet for good: reduced alcohol to about 3-4 glasses of wine a week (from 3-4 per day); cut out sugar and flour and processed food; am eating kimchi every day (curbs my sweet tooth and is great for the gut) and more Omega3; walking for an hour to two hours every day and in my home gym for at least a couple muscle groups every day. Sounds like a lot but before I was wasting time in front of the television and now I spend time walking and lifting. Results: no visible loss of muscle mass and am down 9lbs and one belt notch.

Okay one thing to point out is that this guy got straight into it and ended it just as quickly to the point and didn’t waste time two things very few people do and it’s not excruciatingly filled with detail rather it’s enough so you would be able to tell someone else in your own words what you’ve just seen. Congrats this man has achieved a perfect modus operandi of content delivery.

I regularly watch your videos, but since we're on a special occasion xd I give you my thanks for this project you have with your RUclips channel. I always wanted to be in shape, but my whole life I had this conception that it was necessary to dedicate your entire life to your fitness to make that possible, due to which I never made it happen, and in my head it simply wasn't my priority over the rest of aspects of my sedentary life, but minimalist training has been gold for me, and the change my body has experienced wouldn't have happened without what you've shared with us, so my deep sincere thanks to you, bro. Happy New Year!

When I was 18, I started working out, like all those jocks on Social Media tell you to do. I was lifting really heavy, to build as much muscle as possible, because I wanted to look good. And that kinda worked, I built a lot of muscle, and many people told me I looked good, except my friends, they told me I looked like shit. And thats how I felt. I worked out hard, got really sore and exhausted, and basically couldn’t really move for 2 days. Then I worked out again. Additionally, I ended up in a pretty toxic relationship, where we ended up dragging each other down, getting lazy, watching movies, series and in the end mindlessly scrolling social media for hours on end. Stopped cooking, only ordered takeout all the time, no more sport, and I even cheated some hours of work to sit on the couch and watch movies. About a year ago, I finally broke up with her, but the habits stayed, and a lot of new bad habits joined them. While I was cooking more again, it was usually really large portions of really unhealthy food, I was out partying almost every weekend, and I rarely ever went to bed before 1am, playing video games. I have felt worse than ever in my life. I have become fat, I have lost almost all my muscle, I am exhausted when I walk up a couple of stairs, around noon I am usually so tired, that I need to take a nap just to survive a meeting in the afternoon. I really need to unfuck my body. I don’t even want to look good, I couldn’t give two shits about that for now. But I really want to feel good again. Just 2 weeks ago, I started doing regular body weight exercises and while one can‘t really see a difference yet, I feel better than ever. Just the ability to move your own body for a couple of pushups, squats or even a single pull up is such a good feeling. I still can’t even believe that I have let it come so far, that I couldn’t even pull my own body up…. I have way more energy for the day, I can concentrate much better on work and I have more motivation to do even more. I plan to start running regularly, to finally burn of that disgusting belly fat I have accumulated and I am planning on doing a whole month without falling into any of my bad habits. No drinking, no fast food and no media. But that will probably have to wait until summer, because so I can take a long vacation first that.

I'm also from a country with mandatory military service and truth be told I hated every minute of it. However, when I entered I weighed 110kg and within a year I dropped down to 75kg. It's been 20 years since then and I've been able to keep the weight off. I'm 100% certain that without the military service I wouldn't have been able to lose the weight and would have likely ended up even more obese and unhealthy. It's not just a matter of diet and exercise, like you said, you need to reset and break your flow and the only way to do that is by getting out of your comfort zone. Sometimes the thing we want the least is the thing we need the most.

This isn’t to do with the subject of your video, but I moved back to the states after three years in Busan last year and I have to say you have a different English accent than any Korean I’ve ever met, and that’s not a bad thing! You articulate clearly and you have an excellent vocabulary; it’s just unique. So I’m curious how and where you learned English? I hope you see this message, and I hope to return to Korea soon. Sleep makes so much difference. I’m 53 and get 6 hours a night. I regularly wake up,around 0300-03330. Used to fight trying to get back to sleep but now I embrace it and just get up and hit the gym from 0400-0500 everyday and nap in the day for 30 min. Train again around 1200 just before first meal of the day. Wish I could sleep 8-9 hrs as that one night a year it does happen then that day I always achieve so much more but hey…it is what it is.
Working as a pilot so hence the time for training and 24 hr gyms.

I was eating a lot of veggies, but I'd still drink about a bottle of wine a week, and I'd have maybe three or so chocolate bars. Right, so I cut out the junk, alcohol, and porn, and I started exercising more - mostly just pullups, squats, and benching. I just came across this video, and I'm inspired to take it further. Thanks!

Funny how your all time high weight is my current feel good weight. I lost 15-16 kg from Juli till now. Good thing is I always did plenty of sport like mma, mua thai, handball... so beneath my fat was a good chunk of muscles. Still wanna lose around 5 kg more but Im starting to see muscle definition on my stomach when Im flexing. Never had that before.
Weight loss is weird it is super easy and incredible hard at the same time. I literally tried to lose it for around 10 years but was not able to because I kept cheating on myself. :D
But the last 6 months were incredible easy Im not even trying hard it is just happening. I stopped buying nonsense products so Im kinda forced to eat healthy stuff and have nothing to binge on at home my fridge and storage is full with wholesome foods I cook with. Thats literally it.
