Very nice, Nathan. Good job and thank you for a real hunt. I'm late 60s and went solo in Idaho mid-May above Hell's Canyon. Beautiful wildflowers, elk tracks, mule deer, birds, snow, sleet, hail, rain, sun, wind, calm, and more. Hiked hard up and down steep things. Hunted amongst bear scat. Never saw a bear but truly enjoyed God's perfect creation. Very glad I went. Bought a satellite locator so my wife and grown children would be a bit more relaxed. For a small man your tuff! I killed a big boar and hauled out of the mountains by myself! I just finished canning my bear grease from the fat. 🐻 Your a hard man!
Congratulations on your bear! But, Please NEVER leave a campfire burning (10:55). It doesn't matter if it rained all night. Fire can get into the roots of big conifers like those around your camp, particularly with a wind-blown fire like you had.. You "dodged some bullets". No tent, plastic tarp, no sleeping bag, no food ?, not enough water to douse your fire, shooting at dark, etc., etc. I hate to be a spoil-sport, but you need to learn how to be a woodsman as well as a shooter. Maybe you never had a teacher. So, OK, get better from here. Good luck.

The ringing was due to the mic got wet I didnt realize it till later.
I try to keep my food a little ways from my tent. Especially in grizzly country.
