I completely agree about Ubi FPS games. I didn’t really enjoy Far Cry until 3, which felt revolutionary and I played it to death. 4 was also amazing but I was hoping for more significant changes like 3 had.
But by 6 playing almost identically to 3 apart from some boring “improvements”, I’m now thoroughly sick of them.
Primal felt fresh because it was different enough to feel like you were completely too weak against everything around you and slowly, you turned into an absolute Stone-age beast of a man. It did a LOT with stone tools and bows/arrows.

Primal is so underrated. Love that game.

I really liked this game and yeah it uses the same "boring" formula but there's still a lot to like about this game like the exploration, the visuals, the environment and if you are a genuine speculative biology (or xenobiology?) nerd like me you'll love the creatures. Whenever I get a new game and play it I don't really look into who it was made by, I get ubisoft gets a lot of backlash, but I feel like that shouldn't deter someone from buying one of their games, and I'm not the biggest fan of youtube videos of critics just rambling about how the game was since this can really change how people view the actual game especially if it's from a popular youtube critic, I also feel like people shouldn't just bee line towards a review about the game unless its a review that actually informs you about the critical gameplay mechanics then its fine, but rather they should just try it and I get a lot of games are expensive and if it isn't worth you wouldn't want to buy it, but hey if you don't think it's worth buying then don't buy it.
A thing i would like to point out is that a lot of games have similar formulas like dark souls, bloodborne, elden ring, sekiro, and nobody really says anything and I do admit these are all good games partially because of the combat which is basically all the same except in sekiro i think. People would probably tell me that these games have good world building and good stories, and i'd be like yeah, thats fair, but you only really look into that stuff if that's your interest. If it's interesting to you and you like it because it supports one of your interest then you'll probably like it or not, and I feel like the avatar game was mainly for the fans of the series since people not from the fanbase really hated it, but probably all of the avatar fans did like it.

Also great video CentriFegi :D I partially skimmed it but its pretty chill I feel like the "SOULESS" on the thumbnail is a bit provocative but it's great clickbait if thats what ur going for. ^v^

The game does do some great things. I think Ubisoft games are really about exploration, and that is something I love in games. The thing with most youtube content is that it's subjective, just like any art form. At the end of the day, it's just how I naturally feel about it, and it's totally okay for people to feel differently. I believe people should be able to enjoy whatever they want. And thanks for the kind words!

Also, the hunting and having to actually consult an info source was cool. It gives you a reason to learn the map and see all the different locations.

I'm sorry but it great referencing actual dark colonial stuff and I love environmentalism but in lighter note. I know is not what you want but as a mere casual gamer is a bless as there nothing pushing too hard like souls and as Horizon I find RDR2 overrated- i preferred BotW. I came for native americans kinship and zoology not gameplay

As the great Hannah Montana would say, "Nobody's Perfect." But thank you for pointing out something in such a polite way!

I like how you talk about people boycotting ubisoft games for being the same and then you do the same thing. Just complain about it being the same as far cry and wildands and what not. If you are sick of the way they do games then just dont buy them or dont post a video complaining just like the other folks.

I'm going to be honest about the experience the game offers. If you like Ubisoft, you'll like the game. If you don't, you won't lol.

video games are not cancer medicines, or shoes made by child labor, it's not that deep,......... no one's going to "boycott" games., if people find it fun theyll buy it, if they dont they won't.

If the complains are the same because the games are the same what do you expect?
