Work to get rid of “hate”. That negative energy is not mentally, physically or emotionally healthy. It is okay to separate from harmful things and people, even places that in our memory were sad. Find a peaceful balance and thrive. You deserve to be happy.
Jamaica is indeed the land of natural beauty. Rich in history and culture. The only thing lacking in Jamaica is good quality leadership. The kind of leadership that helps us realize our true potential. I just subscribe to your channel.
We’re getting there. Many of my people are unaware of the treasure that Jamaica is. We as a nation need to take pride in our island, keep it clean, play our part in reducing crime , build good customer service and stop expecting the government to solve all our problems. We love to put down our island and build up foreign countries.
This is a flash back to the past, I bet this was all filmed in the 80's someone should show the same path and places updated from 2024. Loved the music too. One Love 💕
@@emersonchandor8982 I am A Jamaican, definitely Not the 70's.. In one of the interview, the interviewee mentioned "Utech", previously known as CAST (before 1986)... Hence, the video is probably from 1987-1995..
It's not often that I sit through such an extensive RUclips presentation I didn't move from my seat. I watched to the end of this enthralling drive through the luxuriant and lush Blue Mountain, like the natural and recorded music. I have been near to the peak but not gone such distance. Now I see its Barbara Blake narration. I hope to do the journey before I move on. Thanks for the documentary and sharing our picturesque Jamaica,
Wonderful content, absolutely beautiful views showcasing my homeland and people. I happened on this posting and joined while viewing at the halfway mark. Others in cold Toronto are enjoying as I wrote, we eagerly similar offerings.
Awesome tour of the blue mountains and scenery. Reminds me of vacation as child in the region next to the mountain. The coffee picking cold nights and ice cold water when showering😅😅😅 still fun memories just watching😊 the music was great as well , one love😊
Absolutely brilliant documentary of the beautiful natural flora and fauna of Jamaica's magical Blue Mountains. The Augustus Pablo soundtrack is a most appropriate pairing. One Love Ms. Barbara Blake Hanna 👑💚🌟❤️
Seems to be such a beautiful and peaceful place, just love the chirping of the birds 🐦. Heard of blue mountain, drank the coffee but never imagined it would be so beautiful.
Great job Sis Barbara, I've been to Newcastle on a motorcycle, very beautiful place. I didn't realize it was in the Blue Mountains. Loved the soldier with the pic of H.I.M. I loved the narrating, good hearing your voice. Also loved all the different flowers.
This was so relaxing. I felt as if I was right there. Cant immagine that we do no appreciate our beautiful God given land as we should. Thank you for this. I thouht that they only grew coffee in Blue Mountain but there is so mucj more oh, the flowers and the wster fall!
It's such a pity that the video resolution is only 480. So much of the natural beauty is lost. If it was 720 or, better 1080, the views would have been phenomenal. But with what you had, it was a job well done. Thank you for bringing back so many memories.
Had to pause to mention i always believe you have a beautiful speaking voise. Would love to hear you read one of your books I shared this video with Ras Eli.I have always been greatfull to him for introducing us to each other.😊Peace and Love mi sis Bless 🇯🇲 💯
Vicariously, you took your viewers on a beautiful journey. The views are spectacular and beautiful, while I can appreciate the beauty and various eatery and the in-stays,my only issues are: Why are all the proprietors of Europe descendants? The answer lies within us,therefore, rhetorical questions.
Why are you perpetuating prejudice and racism? We all belong, as we are all immigrants. It’s time to move on and thrive no matter the colour of your skin. Just a reminder, anyone improving the economy by hiring locals and bringing tourists to the country is welcome. Stop whining and big up u-self and be decent.
THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VIDEO I'VE I HAVE EVER SEEN FROM JAMAICA SORRY TO ADD THIS BUT JAMAICA NEED TO STOP GIVING AWAY THEIR GOD BLESS ISLAND STILL HAVE SLAVE MASTERS THERES NO OTHER PLACE LIKE JAMAICA I LIVE IN NEW YORK I REMEMBER TELLING MY DOCTOR I LIVE IN A NATURAL PHARMACY JAMAICA IS EVERYTHING WISH WE HAD BETTER LEADERS ISLAND LOOK GOOD BUT FOREIGN OWN ????
The guy kinda looked like Matthew Hyde, with the hairstyle and the light skin. No disrespect! I'm sure that he is nothing like Mathew Hyde, but I was just saying still.
I want to come home❤. Thank you for this🙏
When the road was good!
Beautiful land of wood and water, Jamaica amazing scenery and people ❤
Surrounded by so much beauty, yet so much hates in many hearts

Hate is everywhere. Surround yourself with positive people and be the change you want to see. Only heaven is perfect.
I love the humming birds (Doctor Bird)
Excellent job Barbara Blake Hanna

It looks like the 90's... She said UTECH, if it was the 80's more likely she would have said CAST.
Possibly early 70s.

@Latty2011 You could be right. I was initially thinking 2002-4.
This is early 2000s.Look at the cars and signs
Lovely video, I enjoyed the scenic beauty of the Blue Mountains
Jamaica at its best. Reminds me why I love my Jamaican home.
The humming birds feed constantly, they use up a lot of energy!!

First time here, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great content and very informative and educational. I love the Gap and hope to visit my next trip home.

I will be taking this route on my next trip to Portland. Highways are good but comes with stress.
This looks like back in the 1980's
In the 1960’s Strawberry Hill was a special place for afternoon tea and scones, English style. Newcastle and Holywell were regular weekend stops.
I remember the days! Maybe you can place an order before your next visit. I am sure they will try to deliver!
looks like 70's vintage. Not quite the Jamaica I know today and I was born there
There is another route from Buff Bay Portland
How do I book a tour ?
Hurry up an do wah u ah do ah farign and lock piece fi u pikney dem or u ah go loose😢 memebah mi tole yuh

Jamaica is a wonderful melting pot, with many different people making a contribution to our greatness. May JAH continue to bless us all.
