A personal belief or approach to life that values the process of overcoming challenges and difficulties, seeing them as opportunities for personal development and growth.
A behind-the-scenes look into some of the stories that happened during the time Emily was healing from cancer. It is real, raw, and unfiltered. I want you to know the truth, and not just the curated positive spin often found on social media.
This is also the launch of Em-Powered. The brand and company behind all things Emily was working on and what she stood for. It was her goal to empower others through their emotions. We will continue her work going forward with a new item added to the store every month. Please go look and stay connected to this wonderful woman. Hear her voice, display her style, or where her mantra wherever you go. Thank you for your support.

Hi! Just lost a young sister to melanoma re triggered by pregnancy. Thank you for your channel and the video. I feel less alone, maybe it’s not the right thing to say because I hate you and your kids have to go through it.

I only met Emily the last year of her life. In our private conversations over the months, no matter what she experienced up or down, good or bad, she had a positivity, a laser focus to root out anything that might be contributing to her condition (and possibly her healing), and always expressed such great love for you and your children. She changed my life. And I wished so much when she would tell me how she was suffering, that I could lessen it. I am glad you have found a mission for her life. I look forward to more. This was beautiful. Favorite parts, you and her on the raft in the pool and her in bed, head back LAUGHING. (Went through similar things with a dear aunt before she died of breast cancer. She was like a mother to me.)

It was wonderful and sad at the same time. I discovered you searching hope4cancer in Mexico. What happened with them? Are they reliable? Why did you stop the treatment with them? (I just want to know if it’s worth it for a family member). Thanks and sorry for your lost

So sorry you had to go through that. But I feel happy to have been able to comfort in anyway. ❤️

We loved H4C. She had good results when doing treatments there. They were slow, and when things metastasized she wasn’t strong enough to fly down to have more treatments.

I'm facing cancer for the second time. I have so many decisions to make. Treatment or comfort care only. Why did she have to suffer so much? Why wasn't her pain adequately treated? It makes me sad, and also afraid as I am in pain already. I can't imagine more, without treatment for it.

I had a very dear and great friend that had cancer and I would go and help take care of her at times get her out of the house and at times it was helping with her 2 kids. Emily looked and her story reminded me of my friend Bobbi Jo who died in September of 2011. Thank you for sharing

Wow, so powerful, thanks so much for sharing this! Dang, I love her and miss her so much!! She taught me, at a higher level, about many things, Faith in Jesus Christ being at the top. I am forever grateful for our friendship and all of the time I was able to share with her. You and your family are such a blessing to me and to countless others.
