For ppl who struggle with overexplaining in voiceovers/narration it can be helpful to refer to a writing rule called show don't tell. It's hard to master (even i struggle with it) but it's always worth looking to see if your work is following the rule. You could even try watching your favourite movies and see how much time they spend on dialogue vs everything else. Don't worry too much if you don’t get everything right at the start because you're always improving as long as you're creating
Yea I agree kevin macleod music can only really be used in skits, otherwise it's so hilarious in a serious scene xD but also NOOOOOO I FEEL CALLED OUT BY THE VOICEOVER THING LMAO
0:46 HELP 💀💀 I agree with a lot of these but the most annoying one for me is the waking up routine it’s such a boring way to start an episode and does nothing to advance plot or character. But it is fun to watch old series like this for nostalgia. I’ll add my own annoyance: series oversaturated with dialogue and nothing is happening onscreen. Best writing advice I ever learned is to always have characters actively doing something visual.
everyone i know hates morning routine but people still record that sh- i wonder why,it's not 2016 to still do that also with kevin macleod songs...it's my ultimate ick if i hear it in lps movies/series nice vid and maybe you gonna do part 2??
@@Shori. Honestly I probably should do a part 2. I like rambling about this sort of thing. I've also thought of doing a video where I talk about things I do like/things I want to see more of in LPS series

I agree with this. I want to see somebody subvert the waking up in the morning trope and make it cool. That would be so fun
