Well, those things are under the Gizmo rules in Deadlands. He doesn't want to roll a 1 and have to roll under the malfunction table, or the springs are liable to end up driven right up through his calves...
And it not running notice the blower drive is not turning and NO you cannot turn a roots blower on and off as seen in the original mad max !

All joking aside, I loved both the song and the video. Frankly I consider it an improvement on the original.
Several years ago, I read an interview with Tim Burton (during the Willie Wonka movie promo tour) and he was asked what movie he would like to remake. His answer was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

now i want to stat Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as a House Cannith creation that went rogue for an Eberron campaign.
The real Chitty had a bigger, although unshown Maybach Aero Engine. The movie version had a Ford 3000 V6.
I was expecting something cynical and ironic that would essentially make fun of a movie that's very precious to me, but this is a legitimately cool reimagining!

I clicked on PLAY, thoroughly expecting it to be another bastardization of a classic children's song. Instead, I was wonderfully surprised to be treated with an awesome new take on it, which was obviously done with respect for the original.

The way the car approaches in the beginning is both ominous and genuinely funny
when the coruption and enviromental destruction turned the planet into a hellscape of sand and Sulfur howling over pitch black abandoned highway tunels and subway tracks...
I am gona make sure a few copies of this survives on low tech hardware so the madmaxes can play it while they drive ^^

I love the Clip really awesome in meaning and Performance
It pays to listen to this WITHOUT watching the video so you can hear the genius in the half note changes and the oscillating between major and minor keys and the strange counterpoint between the two at moments. This was musical genius bordering on classical nuances of Bach and Handel. But watching the video you miss it bc you're paying attention to the graphics. Graphics are a dime a dozen, this musical genius piece needed no added gothic graphics.
