  • We're back on home turf after the series of Welsh videos, with a look at the summer time operations at the Bluebell Railway.
    After a video the same name back in 2017, I decided to combinate a number of visits that I have made to the line over the course of the last 3-4 months which include the day to day services that can be seen at the sussex railway.
    The railway had a new timetable set up for 2019 with three variations in use. Service One being a one train service with 3 departures from each end of the line. But the two summer versions, Service Two (one train with 5 departures) and Service Three (two trains each doing 4 departures) feature in this video with the 'Wealdon Rambler' dining service also operating.
    The home fleet of engines to choose from has been slim for 2019, but with the return of BR Standard 4MTT 80151 to traffic the line has been able to operate at full strength. Alongside 80151in this video we see;
    Maunsell Q Class 30541
    BR tandard 5MT 73082 'Camelot'
    SE&CR 01 65
    BR Class 09 D4106
    As a side note please expect a change in the upload schedule as well as the content over the coming weeks. Please check out my Facebook Page for further updates and bonus content. Hope you enjoy this video!
