Beyond Skyrim devs : So, we need you to make a soundtrack to fit our mod, it's just a story-driven expansion, nothing too fancy Daniel Ran : ok lemme try something *proceeds to release 3+ hours of masterpiece tracks worth of belonging in a multi-million dollars blockbuster film franchise*
when I heard it in my game yesterday I could have cried it was so good. Came on right after I accidentally killed Farkas with an AOE spell while trying to protect us from a feral werewolf.
@@ReturnofBenjamin For me it played while I was at Cloud Ruler Temple. It really added to the atmosphere of that place being lost and destroyed. Especially with snow falling.
I 1 milion percent agree with you...and playing the game in releasing the spirits of Alina, Corovan, and Raaslon this played. Got me bigtime emotional, hearing this and seeing what happened to Cloud Ruler Temple. I played Oblivion for years. To see what happened to it and how it made me feel. Well, immersive is the right word. Got me totally.
Ditto. It's the song that plays in my head when I imagine the Dragonborn finally returning to his hometown in Cyrodiil, reuniting with his parents and siblings, and introducing them to his wife and children.
The Beyond Skyrim Bruma expansion has been the most meaningful fan-made experience I've ever had for Skyrim. You can really feel the passion of the team in every aspect of it, from the model work, the textures, the worldspace, the quests. But most of all, the music, is top notch.
The first time I heard Diaspora Nenalata it gave me chills! The voice acting for Surilaron is top notch and the whole Rielle ruins mini quest is just amazing and I cant wait to see what the rising power Surilaron is talking about is!!! Perfect combination of music and writing
Maaaan no way you remastered this! I'm so happy!! I gave the old video thousands of views, I love to work and write with your music, your reinterpretation of Jeremy Soule's masterpieces always leaves me speechless. Thanks for this bless ♡
I swear i could listen to Arch Henchman for hours. when i listen this in battle, i swear i feel every swing of my greatsword, every blow i have taken, every arrow i shoot.
WOW CAN'T BELIEVE! I listened to this like 100% 100+ times! I also downloaded all these songs from your website to listen outside the internet. THIS REMASTER IS A TRUE PRESENT TO ME. Thank you a lot! A lot!
idk man, i think version before remaster sounded deeper and more balanced in terms of frequency response. But still it's godlike ambient, especialy nox astra, just unbelievably beautiful!
Don't forget to give The Voices of Heaven Gospel Choir, and The Rising Sound, directed by Sandro Macelloni, some love, too, for their performance of Nox Atra! Incredible music, goosebumps countless times! Pray tell, do we know where these stunning visuals come from? Unreal Engine, or beautiful nature footage? In any case, the clips were very well chosen!
Definitely! Nox Atra couldn't have happened without them. All the video clips are from Storyblocks. I think they're a mix of real nature and 3D renders.
Of Storms and Half-Light is a song I just can't get out of my head. It has become my soundtrack for when the Dragonborn finally returns to his village in Cyrodiil, finds his parents, siblings, and other kin, and introduces them to his wife and adopted children.
This soundtrack when I first played this mod, I thought it was perfect. An original with some elder scroll vibe to it and to me it makes me enjoy the present Era of Bruma County.
Wow, this remaster is so amazing! The original has become one of my favorites to listen to, so happy it got remastered! Nox Atra and Reverence are still my favorites definitely.
It's very, very cool. Professionally and at the same time with a soul. Incredibly atmospheric and at the same time both Skyrim and Oblivion at once. Wow. Thank you very much
I have been listening to this form of music for about 33, David Arkenstone being one of my few favorite artists, You good sir have now ranked in this category and in my humble opinion rank up there right next to him in talent. Keep your vision alive no matter what, your music is one of the best I have heard in this modern era!!
Oh my days, I'm in heaven ❤ I love your beautiful music so much, this gorgeous compilation is a dream come true. And stunning imagery. Thank you, you are my musical hero 💖
I don't know how many times I've listened to the previous version but I am certain that I will enjoy this one just as much. Thank you for all of your hard work and I hope that you are doing well in your life's endeavors. 😉
Oh shit a remaster? Could we get individual uploads so we can place the tracks into playlists? Your tracks are a centerpiece of my DnD sessions atmosphere :)
The volume levels have been optimised for streaming platforms, and the mixes have been cleaned up and rebalanced. The original release was quite raw, as it were.
Was a bit worried when tracks from the BS: Bruma soundtrack suddenly were gone from my playlists, went to your channel to find this pleasant explaination to their disappearance. Any hopes for new Heartland music coming in the future?
@@ThaCrossword Sorry, your comment got held for review as likely spam. Anyway, no, The Heartland is standalone. It's been used in other mods but it won't be in Beyond Skyrim.
@@DanielRan thank you for the answer man, didnt expect that. The question was more like: does it sound different than the 2018 version, like a noticably different. Best of love to you dude!
*SPOILER ALERT* I chose to forgive Alava and Widow's Lament started playing while she and her brother got reunited. Plus, I'm pretty sure it's necros teleporting stuff into the Synod enclave, and I'm almost certain it's gonna have something more to do with the sibling's story
No sé cómo expresar el sentido que provoca oír y disfrutar de tan bella música , es como si el alma intentara salir del cuerpo y volar por esos paisajes !!! Gracias !!!!!!!

Hearing Last of the Guard at 0:55:09 when I made it to Cloud Ruler Temple...Damn. That hit hard.
0:18:59 Of Storms and Half-light - my favorite...
Me too ❤
My favourite too! Makes a lot better when playing it during raining.

@@ReturnofBenjamin Yes! Bethesda has to get us back to the Imperial City and Cyrodiil that we know and miss, not some newly designed town!
Nox Atra is the most beautiful song, both in composition and lyrics, that I've heard in a very long time
Crazy how well Shapeless is able to evoke a sense of nostalgia

Nox Astra. Daniel Rans' Masterpiece. From that moment I stepped beyond the gates toward Bruma and heard that music. Goosebumps.

Fantastic Soundtrack, at times, as good as Inon Zur or Jeremy Soule ❤
This is so crazy! The very best soundtrack is now remastered in full glory

Walking trough Rielle, hearing Surilaron's speech with Diaspora Nenalata, such a great experience.
I've been listening to this beautiful soundtrack since I discovered it, and am so happy to see that it got remastered.
What I love about the BS projects is that every piece of work is so unique but still so true to TES vibe.
Kynareth's Wish has so much emotion. Amazing OST.

Something about the concordant effect gave me goose bumps while playing bruma
That's good to know, thank you!
I wish BGS hired you for the TES6 soundtrack. You clearly understand the style and feel of Jeremy Soule's ES soundtracks far better than Inon Zur.
Oh yes, I totally agree.
I guess it’ll be up to us fans to fix it if it’s bad or just have Daniel and his friends help us out 😅
Been listening to your songs for a while now, they're amazing! Glad to see them all in a single video, they're breathtaking!
You really caught Soule's atmosphere. Just like Dreyma's music. Unfortunately, as you may know, we will never hear any Soule's music ever again...
