That evening, as dusk fell so did the snow. Clumped together the first flakes twisted and fluttered slowly to the ground. One here, one there, and then the night was filled with them. Caught in the faint light of a window from which you sit and listen to this marvelous music the snow continues to fall harder and harder until you drift into the most peaceful sleep you have ever known.

Good job to you guys and cheers everyone we are listening to a masterpiece.
1:07:50 I've heard this one while the old man in the inn near the border was mourning his old dog, at night, in the middle of a blizzard. Was a really strong scence, hit me like a truck lol
I heard it while the Orc guy from the restful watchman was finding out his wife didn't love him anymore. Idk what they did, but it seems to play during emotional moments.
Frank 97 it's obvious why. Bethesda didn't put any love into making skyrim they did it for money while the modders made this mod with love and dedication for the series
1:07:50 In my last playthrough, this song weirdly made one part that otherwise wouldn't have been too sad, REALLY depressing in this mod. So, I got to Frostfire Glade, beat the boss, and all that. And just explored a bit. I found the dead pilgrims and a book next to them. "Chant of Mara". I started reading it, then mid-way through reading it, the vocals in this song started.... I don't know why, but it made me really watery-eyed. Made an otherwise normal-ish moment weirdly powerful.... I honestly can't believe so much effort was put into a Skyrim mod's soundtrack. And for that.... Thank you, and the rest of the team, so much. This music was such a high point in my playthroughs of Skyrim.

Honestly, this is very heartwarming and gracious. You do not only give us fans but also the elder scrolls titles honor and pride. Amazing. Such beautiful music. Keep it up.
The concordat effect is beautiful. I get lost in it every time. Very well done on this whole thing. This is actually a part of my 5 year old daughters “fall asleep” playlist every night. Works every time.

Nameless Hero, NO! Thank the EIGHT divines! You wouldn't want to violate the White-Gold Concordat, would you? I would have to report that to the Thalmor.
My Skyrim mage will be awaiting Cyrodiil and Tamriel. I will explore the hell out of these lands created from the sweat and efforts of the Beyond Skyrim community. Whenever you (Daniel Ran) or any other music composer and/or performer feel tired, know that I, a very recent Elder Scroll player, have truly felt privileged to be a witness of this beautiful music. I'm playing Oblivion right now, and you and Beyond Skyrim's music is so top notch. A love letter to Jeremy Soule's style and modern music.
The thing about this that is so spectacular is that it completely succeeds in capturing that atmosphere Skyrim's soundtrack was able to pull off. The music makes you feel satisfied, homely, and also adventurous at the same time, as if something new is always on the horizon. Music is so important, it can actually be the backbone of a film or game, and often times it's the reason games succeed, whether people notice it or only subconsciously feel it.
Danke Fefe
Translation What is so special about this music, I can not explain. On the way home from work I've listened to the times. So relaxed and enthusiastically I am at least 20 years no more car driven. About 45km, 40 minutes. Then 2 km from home, oh my God, still 5 minutes and this trip is to END. I do not want that. Thank you Fefe
This is for a mod. And it is one of the best Elder Scrolls soundtracks ever made. Once again, this is for a MOD. "Bloodlines" features one of the most beautiful themes I've heard recently. It's my favourite one, and I can only apologize for not liking or commenting earlier. Great job. Really. And thank you so much for this. I never get tired of hearing this soundtrack.
This soundtrack honestly got me into Skyrim due to how incredibly it was, who knew a mod soundtrack could be this good, even better then the game’s original one, well played
4 years soon... Since its release, I often stumble upon this complete soundtrack when I have to work all night long for an exam/dissert (needless to say it occured even more with the Covid and the "take-home exams"). You released these great songs 4 years ago but to me it feels like I'm using them for an eternity. It became an integrate part of my student life, much more than the great atmosphere it provides when I take my Imperial back to his homeland. When I listen to any of these songs, it's not an image of the Jerall mountains during a snow storm, or the church of Bruma (ok for this one I admit Widow's Lament still does make me remind of Bruma) that comes to my mind, it's some memories of these nights, when I needed a lot of motivation to persevere. While it might seem like I associate your music with bad memories, this is quite the opposite : it also reminds me than the next assignments I'll have to do in the future will be made easier thanks to your tracks. And for that, Mr. Ran, I thank you. Your music went beyond skyrim, and the world of The Elder Scrolls.
Honestly, one of the best OST i have listened to. The re arranged tracks sounds great and the new one are amazing. The highest compliment i can give is: if Jeremy Soule doesn't come back to score ES6 but it's you instead, I will be fine with it.
All that nostalgia and comforting sadness that I used to get and still get while listening to Skyrim OST is also present in Bruma OST. Well done to everyone who was involved!
I came across one of the tracks in someones video, that directed me here. Hearing it without the game makes me appreciate the beauty of the composition more. I plan on listening to this over and over.
I think that when Beyond Skyrim is complete the teams who made it, will probably have a future in the gaming industry. I mean since Skyrim was released theyhave been working on this project. Their team is much smaller and yet they are working on what could and should be considered 5 entire games and 2 DLC (the total size of this mod). That is f**king impressive if you ask me.This is their tribute to one of the best games made. Can you imagine the fun we will have when we take our favourite Follower (mine is Serana obviously) and explore all of Tamriel and beyond? The only down side to this is that they would be unable to hire the voice actors of the original followers to add new lines. No matter how long we will have to wait, it will be worth it. So teams of Beyond Skyrimif some of you are reading this I will be waiting not only for the first Unofficial Sequel to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but all the other as well. No matter how long it will take we believe in you guys. And as I stated before I really believe and hope that after this massive project all of you have a golden future in this industry, because all of you would deserve it.
The first time I truly listened to the Maker of Worlds track was when I was looking at the White Gold Tower from the edge of the map during a full moon and star filled sky.. It was such a pretty moment.
This is so well done! Very consistent with the Skyrim/Elder Scrolls soundtrack, as well. It really caught my ear immediately as I walked around in the mod. Very inspiring.
And just the other day I was thinking I need new study music after using the skyrim and oblivion soundtracks for 4 years now. Thank you Dan! Also I can hear the game of thrones influence and I love it!
Thank you for being such an integral part of this amazing Beyond Skyrim experience. Your music is absolutely beautiful and the subtle callbacks to the Oblivion soundtrack really gave me a pang of nostalgia. Listening to this while I write an essay, just beautiful. Thank you good sir :)
This just tickles me to death with nostalgia feels. Thank you so much for this beautifully composed music, and the work all of you guys have done on this series of mods. Oblivion was such a huge part of my childhood, and it's great to get the opportunity to "go back" to Cyrodiil and beyond!
I have listened to this more times than I can count. Oblivion in my opinion was the best and greatest game of its day. I hold this on par with all Mass Effects I include Andromeda as well as the earlier Halo games from CE to Reach. However this Mod I have listened to on so many of my travels. Many of which lead to my success to competing in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games as a 1 handed Archer. These beautiful tracks and the mod of beyond bruma itself gave me such bliss. Well into the mod being finished I still wondered around the landscape of upper Cyrodill and remembering the past beautiful world and have a great hope for what yet could be, both in the Elderscrolls universe and our reality. Thankyou Daniel Ran and everyone involved for creating such a poetic free masterpiece.
This is just beautiful. I know you felt a little confined trying to compose like someone else, but you did an awesome job of it. Soule hasn't been very prolific lately so I'm glad to have this to tide me over.
I see all these comments of veteran oblivion players reminiscing on oblivion, and it really makes me think about the diversity of Elder Scrolls fans. Some of us have spent time in more places than others. For example I've been in Skyrim and Solstheim for 5+ years. Didn't even get out of the starting dungeon with Martin before I quit playing. I couldn't deal with how different it was right off the bat. The character customization was more than 10 minutes of me just laughing at my own characters default face and then changing one or two things. Then I played BS: Bruma. The regret I felt for not continuing my oblivion playthrough was at an all-time high. It also felt somber because I was used to an era of despair, war, rebellion, and above all Thalmor Rule. That's why I decided to make a new dedicated save file and character for Bruma. A high elf named Sinrend who fought in the Great War, on the side of the Thalmor. Stationed in Skyrim as a scout and a soldier for when the fight for Skyrim came, he waited, but when he got wind of what the Thalmor was doing in Cyrodil and Hammerfell, the brutality which his Altmer brethren fought with caused a bad taste in his mouth. So he left his Thalmor robes in a ditch and resorted to traveling Skyrim until he knew all he could know. It has been a long time since the war but his interest was piqued when he found a set of cyrodilic steel armor not far from the Pale Pass. He needed to see the aftereffects of what the Thalmor did that was so horrifying that they wouldn't let him see.
Diaspora Nenalata is perfect for the angry, dangerous echos of the Ayleid Temples. Especially reflecting back to what happened at Nenalata in Oblivion. Expert job on this soundtrack all around.
The upcoming release of your Piano Collections Vol 1 sent me back here. My heart just melts at this beautiful compilation. It's so lovely it brings me to tears. I'm an Oblivion fan, but only because my clapped out laptop can't handle Skyrim. In this world of stress and hatred the fantasy gives me a blessed escape.
I’m in love with Skyrim and so wish I could play Bruma but sadly I’m stuck to ps4 for now but one day hopefully I’ll be able to afford a pc and play all the modded I want

This is on par with Jeremy Soule's work and that speaks volumes!
i agree
it has the elder scrolls feel that only Jeremy can do
Thank God he's actually not because people like Daniel Ran and Fredrik Jonasson exist.
Don't forget Brad Derrick and Rik Schaffer.
I'd argue that its even better than Skyrim's music. Jeremy put his Soule into Oblivion, but I think he was lazy when writing music for Skyrim
@@anthonyspitery6332 woooooow, you had to do that? 😂

Thank the lord we have people like you
I think this is a materpiece. I'm an Italian elder scroll fan and i think nox atra lost glory and the reference to the watchman ease are some of the best track of an elders scroll game. In my opinion bruma is an elder scroll game and the people who worked should be rewarde you have my full gratitude for giving life to such a masterpiece. I decided to make a little box of memories for the future. Maybe my sons or the ones i love will listen to this and learn about this wonderful game, people community and leave them with the same emotions i felt the first time listening to this. Good job to you guys and cheers everyone we are listening to a masterpiece.
1:07:50 I've heard this one while the old man in the inn near the border was mourning his old dog, at night, in the middle of a blizzard. Was a really strong scence, hit me like a truck lol
I don't know how it's possible but the quests of Beyond Skyrim Bruma seem superior to the main game's secondary quests. These guys are geniuses!
That song has a strong Game Of Thrones vibe to me.
I heard it while the Orc guy from the restful watchman was finding out his wife didn't love him anymore. Idk what they did, but it seems to play during emotional moments.
SharksFartingOutLasers same for me
Frank 97 it's obvious why. Bethesda didn't put any love into making skyrim they did it for money while the modders made this mod with love and dedication for the series
1:07:50 Nox Atra
I know right? Totally my favorite
1:07:50
In my last playthrough, this song weirdly made one part that otherwise wouldn't have been too sad, REALLY depressing in this mod.
0:30:28 Ode to a Dynasty
0:35:14 Of Storms and Half-light
0:49:27 Moon and Scars
0:54:19 Shapeless
These are incredible works. I enjoy it all, but these captured me. Thank you, for making these.
This is incredible. It makes me cry. I am a grown man.
2:51:21 Diaspora Nenalata is my favorite, I really like all the ruin, cave and dungeon soundtracks from the mod. Thank you for your work.
I can't stop coming back to Of Storms and Half-Light
This is incredible. I love how you took a lot of the tracks from Oblivion and made them sound much more somber and bleak. A nice nod to the current
state of Cyrodiil.
You know how a song is epic when you instantly think how you should have it to play at your funeral... Nox Atra is outerworldly. Diaspora Nenalata is quite a masterpiece too.
Wow. Seen`s like you put a lot of Soule in this work. Congratulations. This masterpiece of humanity makes easy being glad to be alive.
I truly have the need to thank Beyond Skyrim for this wonderful work of art.
Much love from Portugal!
Best music for a damn quarantine.
There is a mod on the Nexus that causes Bruma music to be played along with Skyrim's music in Skyrim! I have the mod and its awesome.
Name pls
@@tencity1846 Music of Tamriel
I was listening to that in my garden , and when I stopped it accidentally I heard my neighbor saying: oh no don't stop it, from his garden.... 😂😂😂
🙏🙏❤❤🙏❤;👍❤
Last of the guard(1:42:47) is what really got me. It played in cloud ruler temple, and I cried
Peace of Akatosh
the septim line has fallen and with it the empire itself
A gentle prayer for the Blades that guided us throughout every TES games.
I love this more than I can put into words.
¡Increíble! No hay otras palabras... Está claramente inspirado en el soundtrack de Oblivion lo cual nos hace sentir nostalgia, y a la vez todo lo demás,lo original ¡Es tan sublime!
I don't understand how this mod team got a hold of such great musicians. This tops Skyrim's soundtrack hands down.
Cyrodiil has Fallen.
What ? No it hasn't fallen thank Talos!
Nameless Hero, NO! Thank the EIGHT divines! You wouldn't want to violate the White-Gold Concordat, would you? I would have to report that to the Thalmor.
SkippyIkeoh Do that, we'll see how far those damn elves get, you sniviling Thalmor lapdog
Jack Gould How dare you speak to a member of the Aldmeri Dominion like that! I should have your tounge for that!
Anti-Profanity I'll speak to elf lovers any way that I want, you damn coward
This is just amazing. I've played Bruma and finished like 80%. Its so great
It can get even better with a Legacy Of The Dragonborn based load order :-)
@@SkyrimBeast well damn have to try it now
@@tencity1846 It's a hell of an experience, hope you enjoy it :-)
Love it! I've actually been playing the mod too, as it's now on CC. I can't get enough of it.
From another Skyrim music mod composer: stellar piece of work! Kudos to you my dear sir
I love you and your music no homo
Danke Fefe

What is so special about this music, I can not explain. On the way home from work I've listened to the times. So relaxed and enthusiastically I am at least 20 years no more car driven. About 45km, 40 minutes. Then 2 km from home, oh my God, still 5 minutes and this trip is to END. I do not want that.
Thank you Fefe
Harlan Rixon I was going to show of my GCSE German skills but you got their first.
1:42:47 I honestly teared up a bit when I played the cloud ruler temple quest. The music, the writing, the voice acting, it was all really moving.
This soundtrack honestly got me into Skyrim due to how incredibly it was, who knew a mod soundtrack could be this good, even better then the game’s original one, well played
Of Storms and Half-light is my personal fav.
It's beautiful

Well done to everyone who was involved!
i just found out about this. this is taking my breath away
I came across one of the tracks in someones video, that directed me here.
Hearing it without the game makes me appreciate the beauty of the composition more. I plan on listening to this over and over.
Honestly Daniel. This is the best soundtrack I've ever heard. Top most high budget movie soundtracks. Love it. Listen to this every single day!
This is an absolute masterpiece.
Thank you for such passion in making music for our passion.

If this won't be a huge step in the door for the composing industry, then I wouldn't know what is! We'll be hearing more from you Daniel :D
sublime
I am going to start my own gaming company many years from now, you are now top my list of candidate composers. Amazing work.
"She's ailing, perhaps even beyond saving. But I'm sure you'll take a fair crack at it all the same, welcome.....to Cyrodiil...."
i've been listening to kynareths wish over and over, really beautiful... :')
The best thing about one of Skyrim's best mods.
I had chills with all of the soundtrack ^^ nostalgia
I love how much this composer values violas especially in apparitions
I have the Bruma mod and the music while you wander around in Cyrodill is gold, can't wait for more beyond skyrim releases!
The first time I truly listened to the Maker of Worlds track was when I was looking at the White Gold Tower from the edge of the map during a full moon and star filled sky.. It was such a pretty moment.
Awesome Track!
Please (!) put this track on spotify. i want to put it in my playlist and listen to it on the road
Luftloch like for real we need this on spotify please please please ♡

1:54:54 Accidentally starts a fight with a city guard
I have no words this is simply masterful
This is a better soundtrack than most triple-a games! I haven't even started BS: Bruma yet and I'm already in love.
I've never had much interest in the expansion mods for Skyrim but this has sold me on it.
Lost Glory made me cry!! Beautiful reinterpretation of a timeless piece by Jeremy Soule
Ah, dear nostalgia. Will you ever fail to make us remember all those times when we laughed with proud joy and cried with sheer grief?
'Nox Atra' always gets me....
Glad you like it!
This is just beautiful. I know you felt a little confined trying to compose like someone else, but you did an awesome job of it. Soule hasn't been very prolific lately so I'm glad to have this to tide me over.
This is just amazing. Incredible. Thank you for this gift.
Love the choral works in the Fated Lands piece. Masterfully done. This sounds like a legitimate composition I would hear in a game I paid for.
This is just... fucking amazing
No words for how good this is mate
The whole soundtrack is absolutely amazing!!! The concordat effect hits me with all sorts of feels 💜
Thank you so so much for the beautiful music, I first heard it in the trailer and it felt so right and wonderful.
Another 3hrs of awesomeness, which I will add to my "When I finally read a book again" music library!
Thanks for such am beautiful gift , outstanding work .... i wish there were more like this
Diaspora Nenalata is perfect for the angry, dangerous echos of the Ayleid Temples. Especially reflecting back to what happened at Nenalata in Oblivion. Expert job on this soundtrack all around.
Have been listening this for 2 years already. Incredible work.
