Beef should move the wool shop over into Ibuy so it is over in the shipping district. Impulse is looking for other shops to fill some of the space.
Especially with the terracotta shop there, all the colors in one place. Or is it concrete?

In both matches, you shouldn't have been able to play the TNT card since you'd already played a single-use effect card that turn (the composter). Hypno should have won the first match.
I was thinking the same thing 🤔 😅 ive seen a few errors in games... as long as they are having fun and not intending to make errors i think its forgivable
He did the same wrong move on the first match too, he shouldn’t have won that game at the end. It doesn’t really matter because they got two tokens each.

it was my understanding as well that you needed 2 cards to discard to play the composter in the first place as well. since discarding 2 is part of the "cost". I know some of the other hermits talked about it on stream and I thought that's what the ruling was but I could be mistaken
@@Rothruindir No. You can play the card even if you don't have two cards in your hand to discard.

Seeing these games with the Keralis card in play made me think if there's ever a special Keralis card it should have a special "You cheated!" move where you roll to see if the opposing hermit has to return an attached item to the hand.

After all the months of you working on TCG and all the voting we the watchers did; don't EVER think we will get bored, i love watching the newer players/decks and i love watching the ruthless matches. It's amazing to see how much the hermits love this!
Did you see the match between Joe and Impulse?? Pretty much starter decks and it was a brutal fight with the effect cards and hermit combos that they both had.

Every time someone mentions they can't go to certain arenas 'cos they're occupied, it's really delightful. I'm so glad to see how much TCG has a grip on hermits, and they're just having good fun together.
The hardcore players like Jev, Doc, Ren, Cleo, Etho, etc... sometime spend 6-8 hours just going between the arena and the shop. Lol
It's amazing what you and Tango have done with Minecraft!
I know right, I can't wait for Decked out 2 because I wasnt around when the first one came out. I started by watching Grian and Mumbo at the start of season 8 lol.
Holy snap dude. You must treat yourself and watch Etho’s (and Tango’s, for that matter) series 7 from when Tango announces his plans for Decked Out. He was the best player during Decked Out and a blast to watch and watching Tango do all the care and maintenance and react to the players was super entertaining as well
@@sammie3277 Yeah, realistically you could get a great idea of how the original game worked by watching Tango's explanation video of it and then watching Etho's descent in to madness running it incessantly.
Beef you are a miracle worker, you release your game and next thing you know Mumbo is back, Etho is Back, Hypno is back. pesumably Iskall and Stress will show any second now.
Maybe it would help to remember the button presses if it had a sound attached. Not as advanced as X's arena ofc, but sound cue could help trigger the realization that it was hit and the turn is switching.😅
The Monty Python references in this episode are making me lol so loud that I'm startling my neighbors.
I love how Beef was just casually completing the Elytra gaming not realizing that it was a trap the whole time, one that Cub seems to have fallen for already, hence the lack of trapping

I've been thinking that it would be cool if the coming tournament was comprised of two leagues. One for fully developed decks, and another for starter equivalent decks, or maybe even common cards only. Anyone could feel comfortable taking part in the light league and have decent shot against the very experienced players. It could also generate trading in a bunch of commons that don't see much use in the players' collection once they get a lot of rares.
TCG got Hypno back. It's only a matter of time that this could bring back Wels who's a MTG player as well! Great job Beef as always and really happy that your months' work has got the hermits all interacting and getting more collabs that we did not know we just have to have!
15:10 I thought you can only use 1 single use effect per turn, but you used composter and TNT?
I think to help with the end of turn button pushing, it would be good to have it linked to a redstone lamp and note block to signify it is the next players turn (so your button is linked to lamp on opposing players side and their button is linked to lamp on your side of board). So when, for example, Hypno ends his turn and hits his button to draw a card, it lights a lamp on Beef’s side to signify it’s now his turn. And vice versa. This way you always know who’s turn it is and there’s no more forgetting to hit the draw card/ end of turn button. 😊
I will never get bored having full games posted.

its super exiting to see hypno back on the server, especially to join in on the tcg madness. watching the full matches is always super enjoyable, it's so nice to see all the hermits interacting, tcg has been wonderful for that :D

I was playing the TCG on the fan made website and MAN, the mumbo jumbo is TOO MUCH overpower, please look at it Beef! Doc will win everything!
So happy Doc's a GM now - especially with his new home arena lol it's so perfect. All the GM's should make a personal arena or something, like a home turf "Gym Leader" kinda thing lol idk would be cool
The success of your TCG should make you feel proud. What an accomplishment! Although, be wary of a card-addicted Doc. 😉 I really enjoy the games with people that don't have their "perfect" decks, but are building them up. It's also nice when people have multiple decks to play with. Thanks for the video!

I loved every episode you post, I loved the process of making the maps and rules of this game. And I love the hype of the finished game. And I watch almost every match the hermits post. You’ve done a great job beef. This is my favorite story arc on hermit craft right now.
HCTCG is amazing and I love watching all the hermits play against each other, it's so much fun. Lots of hilarious interactions! Thank you for all the hard work you've done with it and for bringing this much joy to both the hermits and us Watchers :3
Love watching everyone collecting the cards and putting together decks with what they have, reminds me collecting magic cards as a kid and building my decks with only limited cards. I'm super interested in seeing the meta develop over time!

Huge cheaty from beefy, that and trying to ignore the golden armour, I guess it was for 2 each so didn’t really matter but it did make me laugh

I enjoy seeing these early first games! It takes me a while to learn and memorise things so it’s nice to have more chill explained games still. It’s been wonderful to see how much this game has brought everyone together, incredible work Beef!
I like the longer videos format, particularly for watching these matches. Also, a tournament would be so fun to watch.
Two things that could be added to the TCG.
1. Bonus attack if a Hermit plays their own card.
2. TFC Legendary Card.
I'm so happy for you Beef. All that work has paid off handsomely. You are the talk of the server and all of Hermitcraft is playing your game. It's an amazing accomplishment. Back when Guude allowed you onto the Mindcrack server I wonder if and what you imagined your future to be like. I doubt you ever imagined this but it's certainly a high point in your RUclips career. Congratulations!
Not sure if you’ve thought about this beef, but as an additional gimmick to mess around with. The hermits who have famous sayings or lines as their attacks, you could have a music disk of them saying that line. Maybe commission the hermits to record some and sell them at the shop for a couple of diamonds. I know I really enjoyed last video XB being there to say his line
Joe Hills has been fiddling around with Video Effects for the TCG. Not sure if he has done this exact thing yet.

And in the second match he did the exact same thing, composter in to tnt knocking out iskall.
Might be a good practice to leave single-use effects on the board until you draw the the end of turn, instead of discarding as soon as they've resolved, as a reminder.
In the online version, you can use the composter before your attack, so this a legal sequence.

In your match with Hypno, you used two single use effect cards in 1 turn, wouldn't he have won instead because using two single use effect cards isn't allowed? Talking about using your composter card then immediately after using a TNT card.

You should have a designated viewing box somewhere in the shop where you look at cards/packs/decks together. Maybe it could hang from the ceiling like a light or something.

I've been watching so many tcg games and putting the Pokemon TCG videogame music on in the background. The whole thing is so nostalgic it's incredible. (Game master battle and normal battle are my 2 go-to tracks rn) Watching each card get worked on and brainstorming for all those months hasn't lessened my amazement with the amount of work put into it. I was hoping some hermits would be into it but the server has exploded with TCG madness!!
I can't wait til you make expansion packs. I miss the brainstorming and excitement as each card was revealed. And then immediately seeing the server go nuts over new cards will be great!

I am loving all the episodes, Beef! I am not a crafty sort of person in the slightest but I am seriously considering making all the hermit cards just so that I have an irl souvenir of this amazing game and the nostalgia it will bring me when the season is over. But first I’ll wait to see if you and the hermits are able to figure something out that you can legally sell officially. 😅

Another thing I thought of while watching your match against Hypno, you should really make sure there is equal stacks of green and red fireworks in the coin flipper before each match. If there are more stacks of one than the other, the odds change. I'm not sure how you've handled this as dispensers hold 9 stacks so if it is full it will have 5 of one type and only 4 of the other type.
I'm not a redstoner, but I think the way it works is it picks a slot semi-randomly. Meaning as long as there is one stack of green fireworks and one stack of red fireworks, that's as fair as it can get. The total number of fireworks doesn't matter. But I could be wrong.
@@Lightning_Lance Yes, that is the way it works. I was referring to the number of stacks as a dispenser can hold nine stacks. You need to make sure that there is the same number of stacks of each type. Best to start a match with the same number of rockets as well because if you have one stack of each and heads runs out before tails, then you'll only get tails for the rest of the match.

Could you mix the localised stereo audio with 10-20% mono in your plugin? When you're standing next to each other headphone users often hear almost no sound in the left ear and all of Hypno in the right ear
You could grab the tokens from the chests under the TCG shop, based on what I've seen from other hermits, there are plenty of them down there, lol.
We all need more tcg arenas and a server wide tournament. Maybe a rare error card as a reward? Give it some thought beefers

I have to admit, I wasn’t sold on the game when you were building it but I am so addicted to watching matches. awesome awesome, I love that I was wrong. I do kind of wish there were some pet items, like a fox (for stealing maybe), jellie (scar would love it), phantom (maybe attack afk hermit) etc. needless to say, your cards are amazing, thank you so much :)
OMGosh, the Jellie could gift you an extra card, 2 if Scar is your active Hermit. 🤔

I have used most of my free time watching Hermitcraft TCG matches.
This has been the most amazing thing getting to watch this develop in to a fully fledged game.

Is there any chance of this becoming something players could download for their own worlds/servers/realms? My server mates and I would love to play ourselves.

Beef, an idea for you: at the end of a game on the citrus arenas, you could swap the button to retrieve a single card with a lever to spam it back and forth.
You could add to the item cards the strengths and weaknesses of that type.
Since it does not change the mechanics of the cards, I don't think it would be a problem to have different texts for them, and it would make it easier to check whidout having to look elsewhere.

An idea at the arenas have a copy of every card so you can go look at a card during game instade of breaking cards on the board
