    Nice work and documentary. However, the Amazon is not the longest river in the world and Congo River is not the second longest river. The longest river is Nile River. The Amazon is the river with the most volume of water followed by the Congo River. Volume and length are not the same. Also Brazzaville and Kinshasa are not the two closest cities in the world. The honor goes to Buda and Pest, which are separated by a 378 meter bridge. But if you are talking about the two closest capital cities of two countries, the honor belongs to Brazzaville and Kinshasa which are two miles apart.

    • @TheFlyingFlags
      @TheFlyingFlags  5 месяцев назад

      @@emmanuelokonta1241 I agree with you on the river bit that the Congo river is the second-longest in Africa (after the Nile) and not in the world.
      But I strongly don’t agree with your thought on the city part; that wasn’t necessary if you knew Kinshasa and Brazzaville are two different national capitals.
      Who doesn’t know Kinshasa and Brazzaville are two separate capital cities? Which is what were referring to and not cities of the same nation as in Hungary’s Buda-Pest. Besides if you had watched the entire video you would have heard me clarify that by categorically mentioning the names of the two countries accordingly at the beach of the Congo River on the Brazzaville side.
      Thank you for your sharing though.
      Peace and blessings ✌🏾

    • @emmanuelokonta1241
      @emmanuelokonta1241 5 месяцев назад

      @@TheFlyingFlags I did watch the video and I am not restricting the rivers to Africa only. Please take a moment and read my contribution again. The Congo River is the second river by volume in the world. Also, in your clips you said the two closest cities in the world. That is not correct. You did state that they are in two different countries, but you did not specify that they are the two closest capital cities. I am only trying to help you remove the ambiguity for future purposes. I hope I make my self clear. I do not have any intention of undermining you in any way.

    • @TheFlyingFlags
      @TheFlyingFlags  5 месяцев назад

      @@emmanuelokonta1241 Yes, I understood you on the volume of water globally and again, I agree.🫡
      However, our chat in the clip had nothing to do with volume; we were talking about length and that’s what I’m trying to draw your attention to by acknowledging that we should have said it is second-longest after the Nile in Africa and not second-longest in the the world after the Amazon (here I’m correcting myself)-focusing on the exact topic of discussion, “length”!
      With emphasis on “capital” I understand and I really think it is helpful. But ALSO, a comprehensive look of the video completely eliminates the ambiguity you’re concern about. At the beginning of the video I already introduced Brazzaville as the capital city of Republic of the Congo and at the beach of the river we clarified we were going “to see Kinshasa” which is in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on the other side. We all, sometimes, skip words because we already know what we are saying and make room for others to get it.
      Trust me, I appreciate your input on this and I never thought you meant to undermine me.😄 I’m also certainly not undermining you in any way.😎 I learn a lot from you all here in the comments and I want that always. Your opinions help me improve on many things as I travel.
      Thank you! Peace ✌🏾

    I disagree with you and your friend, the longest river in the whole world is River Nile with its source in Uganda, the second is Amazon of America, may be River Congo is somewhere, but River Nile is the longest starting from Lake Victoria in Uganda and emptying in Mediterranean sea Egypt.

      @TheFlyingFlags  5 месяцев назад +2

      @@nelsonveryinspiringsongver8042 You are certainly right about the Nile being the longest in the world, arguably. For sure the River Congo is the second-longest in Africa not the world. But definitely the deepest in the world. Thank you for drawing our attention to that.
