I think I cope with narcosis well cos I,m a calmed person even drunk and I so that gives me advantage... people trying to experience depth should ask themselves a question..do I lose control when i'm drunk? do I do stupid things? have I ever been drunk at all... I remmember a student back when i was instructor who got scared when going down to 30m for her deep dive, once on the boat she explained to me that not knowing what was going on on her mind freaked her out because never tried alcohol..
deep air is simply crazy, like to travel at top speed with a small car. u can do it, but is 100 times more risky to run at the same speed with a ferrari(trimix). and there is still people who see a shark in yuri video -.-
Prerequisites are advanced nitrox + deco procedures for TDI and max depth for air is 150 feet. Trimix course max depth is 300 feet for training dives. After your done your only limited by the gas you can carry.

I agree that every diver reacts differently to the narcs. Also the same diver may react differently on dives based upon the specific situation i.e. task loading, pre-dive psycological state & many other factors. For example diving with an instructor (on the corect gasses), will reduce the divers task loading and anxiety; however I have to dispute one major point. There is NO evidence supporting the theory that build-up dives reduces narcosis, the opposite is true, tolerance is not cumulative.

anyone can get narc'ed dosnt mater if you have had 1000 dives or used drugs your whole life. There have been times where I have been sooo happy and times where I can hear my heart pound in my ears and my vision start to tunnel. Those are when you have to keep it together, and there are times when at 150ft I have had nothing at all. It varies. The man in th video says it best, keep your wits about you focus and recognize whats happening then put all your focus into your dive an stay safe
good physical and mental fitness is mandatory for deep dives, specially if you do them on air. I work as a commercial diver in Mauritius and i often get a tank and just go down. If you keep you focus all goes fine. My deepest dive that went well was at 87m but well shit can happen and on my last dive i went to 100m and lost consciousness (hyperoxia) but i did make it back up somehow after going through what i call hell. I was alone and doctors believe that being fit saved me so keep fit divers;)
worst advice ever... because everyone is effected differently so your example should not be used as guidelines for someone else. the real advice to give would be to seek proper trimix and technical diver training before attempting those depths..

Planning aside I've been to 40m and a little more on air with no issues with motor skills or math ability. I haven't had any issue at any other depth either. However on a second repetitive dive an instructor had to surface when he suddenly narc'ed out at 8m.....point is in both situations one or both of us were ok enough to help ourselves and if required the other. The maths and theory can only go so far - biology and physics of our bodies are key.

+D Zek Back in 2013, i founded a web site (sadly i can't find it anymore), where the instructors of Tek Tribe said, when you arrived in Egypt for scuba diving, you just had to prevent them, so they'll send you a shuttle to make things easier. Would also like to have training there, but i have done only two first scuba diving in the Mediterranean Sea, and since i live near Paris, i don't think having the level 1 would be useful for me. May i ask you if you are more into recreational diving or rather in technical diving?

As I think that tec is safer have only OC tec equipment but mostly I have to dive solo as I'm newly backed tech diver there is not many of them keeping me a company :) Also enjoy diving in PADI centres. It's absolute twaddle to say that you should dive to your qualification depth, that should only be the MAXIMUM under perfect conditions, and only if it's safe to do so. There are divers with old certs that allow deep air diving to 65m, doesn't mean you should do it. Everyone is narked at 60m on air, to the point where you won't remember the dive afterwards and not in a fit state to manage any issues that arise or help a buddy or team member with a problem. It's selfish stupid & unsafe.

I agree and I was told to also go diving with a buddy and if it is your first time even though you are certified go with a person that has been certified long then you and to never dive alone can anyone give me some tips and advice about the classrom part and the Pool part because I doing my hardest to pass the classroom part so that I can do the Open water diving and I just can't get my head around anything even though I Listen carefully to the instructor

In the Keys I dived to 150ft and never felt narc'd. I stayed for about a minute and went back to about 100ft for the rest of the dive. I do have a very high tolerance to drugs -- even at the dentist, I need 3x as many shots as anyone else. This might be the reason.

If you have to ask what the impact of trimix would be, you shouldn't be deep diving!

A proper term accepted now is 'Gas narcosis' as not only Nitrogen causes it, but Oxygen actually, too
