    This is awesome Johnny! I'm jealous we don't have a recreational fishery here from PEI Canada. Commercial lobster is huge here though. What are your regulations for recreational lobster?

      Thanks man, in Rhode Island it's pretty easy 40 bucks and you can register for a recreational lobster license. The gear is the most expensive part

    Good for you!!! I wish we have lobsters in Texas waters. How deep/far do you have to go out? Do they prefer sandy or rocky bottom? thks

    Surprised your not finding crabs and channel welks in the pots. Lobster dinners are always a nice meal. I used to use fish frames from the fish I caught. On a different note how do those beach wheels work out on your AP120? Do they rub on the kayak, I saw after market axle setup to add some space.

      Yea so far it's been just lobsters which is nice. The beach wheels do rub a little on the AP120, but not enough to make me want to buy another cart lol

    What happens to the previous zip ties that are gone when you pull up?

    • @Fish-RI
      @Fish-RI  Год назад

      I actually bought some better bait bags and ditched the zip ties so I don't need to worry about it anymore

    I tried lobster trapping 5 years ago in Gloucester, it was fun but many times I would find my traps in a different locations or my rope all tangled up. I figured it was the commercial guys being asshole cuz maybe I was in their area. so I called it quits. I didn't get out enough to check my traps.
