  • A great way to really start diving into the good stuff and sounding impressive. I love teaching this blues medley in by beginner blocks and to all ages too. There are so many songs that use the 12 bar blues and a number of different theory techniques and tricks that you can learn along the way too.
The blues creates a lot of space to get creative too, and so, once you understand the basics you can then build on them from there and really start having some fun with playing the blues. In a group this works really well, especially when you feel the confidence to use that blues scale and come up with your own riffs and licks to throw in and really get your group sounding groovy!
Check out my BuyMeACoffee Page for all of the songsheets and lesson materials. Here you can see a breakdown of each part of the blues and how to play it, including some options for you to strum and play the riff too.

I can't thank you enough for this wonderful lesson on the 12 Bar Blues in C. The lesson was easy to follow along with and surprised me how simple it is to play this awesome sounding blues medley. I love your laid back teaching style which removed any anxiety or stress I had for the lesson and which was actually very motivating for me. This was by far the best and most enjoyable tutorial for beginner Blues I have found on YT or anywhere. You are my new favorite Ukulele teacher on YT and I am glad I just found your channel here. I am a happy new subscriber to your channel, sending you all the best from the US.

Can I ask or I have to buy a coffee for the songsheet on this lesson or the 5 pond a month? It's not clear to mee what the difference between them is. I think it's my English standing in the way 😞
